Horseback Riding

MAID’S REMINDER TO
RENTERS

Rides will be weekly on Saturdays and

Sundays. There will be three-one hour
rides with limited space. The rides cost
$10.00 per person and you must sign up
at the Trading Post at least one hour
before your scheduled ride.
You must wear long pants and closed-toed
shoes or you will not be allowed to ride.

Hi,
I’m going to be with the kids again
this year. Hope all of you Cloud 9
kids are as happy about that as I
am! We welcome all children as
long as they follow the rules and
respect each other. Our PENNY
DRIVE has been such a success and
we are doing it again this year. Be
sure to come down and see your
pennies at work. There are new
items for the children and more
scheduled activities and crafts.
Keep saving those pennies and
bring them with you when you come
to the Ranch. Beginning Memorial
Day weekend and throughout the
season, the Youth Center
will be open 7 days a week
for your use and enjoyment.

NAME A CAMPGROUND ROAD
The Fun-Addicts Committee is sponsoring a
fundraiser to begin next year’s activities for our
Cloud 9 Kids. You now have a chance to name a
road in all of the Ranch Campgrounds. Each
campground will have a theme and the road name
you choose must fit the theme. Contact Cheryll, Fern
or Zaylor in the Ranch Office or email to
reservations@cloud9ranchclub.com. You will be
notified if your submission has been approved and at
that time payment of $25.00 per entry will be due.
Your entry is not official until funds are received.
The following is the theme for each campground and

The Cake Walk will be Sunday May 30th at BINGO IS ALIVE!

12:00 p.m. Please donate baked goods.
Immediately following cake walk, kids will
be transported to the stables by train for
activities and horseback riding. Then kids
will be transported back to the pavilion for
a barbeque and activities. Donations for
refreshments, snacks, chips, dip etc… will
be greatly appreciated and can be given
to the office or to Cheryll Duvall @ Wilder

Bingo will start Memorial Day weekend
unless there is enough support to start
earlier. If you want to start bingo sooner

We have replenished our supply of new
map shirts so stop by the Ranch Riders
Club table at the May 29th flee market and
poker run. Check out our maps, stickers
and other items. We have our 50/50 raffle
and will be raffling an ATV Radio and
counter top ice maker. We will also have
a canister set up for Justin Schmidt.
Justin’s parents are ranch members.
Ranch Rider Club election will be June 26
at 7:00 PM at the ranchrider.org chat

Please Help:
Please help offset medical bills for a major life
prolonging surgery for Justin Schmidt. Justin was
born April 14th 1992 and was a healthy baby! Within
hours of his 4 month DPT vaccination he had a major
reaction. Over the next 3 years of numerous doctor
appointments he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
A genetic specialist was finally able to determine
Justin's brain damage was a result of the vaccination.
These vaccinations are now dead viruses. Justin is
totally dependent on family members and is confined
to a wheelchair which has caused him to develop
severe curvature of the spine which will soon affect
his internal organs including his lungs. The spinal
fusion surgery will be conducted at St. Louis
Children's Hospital as it is too complicated for
Shriners Hospital. With the change in hospitals a
major part of the surgery costs will be passed on to
the family. There will be a long hospital stay with
intensive re-hab and he will eventually be sent home
with very costly medical equipment and follow up
care. The pre-appointments start soon with many
trips back and forth to St. Louis and then the surgery
will follow April 21. Donations can also be made at
all Central Bank locations to Justin Schmidt.
