2016 PARENT OPINION SURVEY

Surveys will be distibuted to families as part of the 2016 Parent Opinion Survey. The survey will take parents
about 15 20 minutes to complete and the feedback and opinions provided through this survey
play an important role in further informing our decision making processes and helping to make
our school the best it can possibly be. The survey is completely confidential and all completed
surveys are returned to the Department of Education for collation and analysis.
If your family receives one of these surveys, we ask that you complete it during next week and then
return the completed survey in the sealed envelope provided, back to the office by Friday 29th July. It would
be great if we could get a 100% return to ensure the feedback we receive is truly reflective of our community.

Please note price changes for lunch orders.

Pies now $3.50
Pasties now $4.00
Giant Sausage Rolls now $3.50

Students will be presented with certificates at next Thursday afternoons assembly .

Southern Mornington Peninsula Connect

Would you like to gain a TAFE qualification at Chisholm Institute and be assisted with all the fees? An
SMP Connect scholarship covers all training costs plus approved out-of-pocket expenses not met by a
persons entitlements through Centrelink. Age is no barrier for those who wish to return to education
after a long absence with some of the current SMP Connect students being over 45 years. More than
70% of the scholarship students are females and 55% are over 21 years. Many who have obtained a
qualification have entered the workforce as an employee or set up their own business. A large
number of the adult students have told us of the positive effect in the household with the family
being very proud of their achievement. A wide range of courses is available at Chisholms Boneo Road
