DROP PREVENTION SYSTEM
Industry regulations exist to protect people from falling, but no such guidance exists for protecting
individuals from dropped objects, the fourth highest cause of death in the workplace. The Tools @ Height program
from Snap-on Industrial offers both safety and productivity and uniquely addresses this critical gap. Tools @ Height
is Snap-on Industrials tethered tool program designed for applications that involve work being performed at height
and anywhere dropped or lost objects are a concern; the tools are tethered to prevent them from being dropped. All
tools are designed with an engineered tethered system to maintain or enhance the tools functionality when used at
height or near critical assemblies.

not just one. Snap-on T@H ratchets and drive tools
feature a locking pin which mates with the side lock
hole for positive retention. This reduces the risk
of misaligning the socket that typical competitors
sockets with just one side hole create.

THKITUS500 includes Snap-on Industrials most popular Tethered Tools for the offshore oil extraction industry. It
consists of a rugged Snap-on KRA4107FPES seven-drawer roll cab complete with high-density foam drawer inserts
pre-cut to fit the 180 tools included in the set. Six drawers are fitted with foam as pictured above, and there is a spare
drawer for storage of other miscellaneous tools not included with the set. Both SAE and metric tools are included, as
well as lanyards, and wrist straps.

LANYARDS
Snap-on Industrials T@H retention system increases safety and productivity wherever tools are used. Attaching
tools to a lanyard or tether can keep them from falling when used in high places, can help prevent foreign
material, and can reduce loss of valuable tools in environments like ocean platforms. Snap-on tethers can be
used on a wide range of hand tools and cordless power tools. Lanyards can be attached to wrist, belt, harness or
other location based on usage and weight. Be sure to use a lanyard with capacity that exceeds the weight of the
tool you are attaching because drop forces are often greater than the actual tool weight.

All Retention Systems Are Not Created Equal
Snap-on Industrial uses a stainless steel, screw-locking carabiner connector while many competitors use aluminum connectors that are not load rated.
Snap-on also gives you a nylon tether that has a spring inside to absorb the
shock of a dropped tool and built in drop indicator. Lanyards that have been
involved in a drop should be replaced. The drop indicator identifies that for you.

are not load rated. Snap-on also gives you a nylon tether that has
a spring inside to absorb the shock of a dropped tool and built in
drop indicator. Lanyards that have been involved in a drop should
be replaced. The drop indicator identifies that for you.
