WORK EXPERIENCE
Assistant Director
Creative Minds Learning Center (January 2016-Current)
- Lead and supervise a staff of 12 among 6 classrooms, of children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years
- Support teachers with lesson planning, developmentally appropriate practice, positive guidance strategies
- Make sure that staff/building are meeting state health and safety regulations and Colorado State Licensing
- Ensure all children and staff files are up to date as per licensing requirements
- Manage monthly billing for families and staff time cards
- Train new teachers
- Plan center-wide family events
- Fill in for teachers when they are out sick
- Uphold state ratios throughout the center
- Organize a daily lunch break schedule for teachers
- Sustain website and Facebook page
- Maintain daily communication with parents via email, phone or face-to-face
