Hand printing

Rationale of
Implementation
Handprint crafts are
crafts that you
would want to
make for many
reasons. Making
handprint crafts is
an excellent way
for children to be
creative and artistic
and a fun way for
mom and dad to
preserve precious
memories of their
growing children.
Threading with
beads is a fantastic
activity for
promoting fine
motor development
in young children.
It requires
concentration,
thinking skills,
encourages the use

Using beadsto thread onto is a particularly good

idea for younger children and upwards, as it is
easier to hold and retains its shape during threading.
They can then be manipulated into any shape and
twisted to secure them at the ends, after making
letters of the alphabet, numbers, necklaces or
bracelets, amongst many other ideas. Child will do
the imagining in that area.

Children need a chance to have an appropriate place

where they can play in the mud, paint on rocks and
get their hands dirty. Handprint crafts provide
children with the opportunity to be children in a
controlled setting. Creation of a handprint craft
allows them the freedom to use sticky, colorful,
gooey art supplies to do something that others will
appreciate.
