2015 RIA DWI PRATIWI THE INFLUENCE OF VITACIMIN C GIVING TO INCREASE THE ABSORBTION OF FE (IRON) TOWARD HB (HAEMOGLOBIN) CONCENTRATION ON MUS MUSCULUS viii pages + 51 pages + 8 tables + 2 pictures + 10 attachements ABSTRACT Anemia is a hemoglobin level state in blood that is lower than normal level for people group according to age and gender. The anemia impact is the decrease in motoric ability of children whom suffer anemia, a decreasing in score of IQ, decreasing in cognitive ability, decreased mental abilities of children, decreasing work productivity of centre the complications in pregnancy and childbirth. To prevent anemia were given iron (Fe) and Vitamin C to assist in the absorption of Fe. The method in this research is experimental research method, design pre test post test with control group. Sample research used animal testing mice(mus musculus) were as many as 16 mus musculus. Data analysis were univariate and bivariat (dependent and independent T-test). The results of the research is know that the minimum value of the levels of Hb before being given treatment namely 15,26 and value maximum 19,78. After being given the treatment of Hb levels into the minimum value was 17.79 and maximum value was 24,29. There is difference significant in average Hb before being given Fe and Vitamin C with Hb after being given Fe and Vitamin C (p value 0.0001). There is a significant difference between the average of Hb that given Fe with Hb that given Fe and Vitamin C (p value 0000). It is recommended to make further research about fe with food other adders that can be supported for elevating levels of hemoglobin.
