Kevin and Kim Rindler of Covington, who have lots of family in the Penny Saver reading area, recently enjoyed a quick family
vacation to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. They and daughters Rachael and Jenna are pictured with the Penny Saver at
the Grand Canyon sign. If youre thinking the Rindler name sounds familiar, youd be right! Kevin and Kim were on our April
25 front page, as well, following their visit to the Biltmore Estate in South Carolina. Kim works in the front office of Arens Corp.,
and when we heard they were planning another vacation, we asked her to take along the Penny Saver once again.
You see, current entries for our Take Us Along contest have dwindled down to just a few unuseable pictures. Photos have
been rejected for a number of reasons the lighting was poor, the picture out of focus, insufficient information was provided
about the vacation, or the entry was submitted without a return mailing address to send out their prize should they be selected
a winner. Many of the entries we currently have are so old and outdated we hesitate to use them.
So... with vacation season upon us once again, we remind our readers to pack a Penny Saver in with their swimming suits,
walking shoes, and sunscreen so they can enter our Take Us Along contest. Pictures must be in color, of good quality, and
background information provided about the vacation. Photos taken in family homes, backyards, and restaurants would not be
appropriate. Ideally, the picture should feature something depicting the vacation destination, such as the Rindlers photo
above. Of course, someone in the photo should be holding a Penny Saver! Emailed photos must be in a JPEG or TIFF format
and can be sent to arenspub@gmail.com. Dont forget to include your actual home mailing address! Those wishing to mail
their contest entries should send original photos (scanned and copied pictures dont work well for our needs) and mailed to
Take Us Along Contest, 395 S. High St., P.O. Box 69, Covington, OH 45318.
