At the start of the bell, Answer the following question and have a mini discussion. The question is
a review question from the past lesson. What was the policy of the United States against
communism? This will help the students review the term and an opportunity to re-teach past
lessons.

During the start of the period, I will start a discussion on


What was the United States policy against communism?
After the bell ringer, the students will be introducing the
chapter. They will answer three questions that asked about
the timeline.
I will start lecturing on the escalation of the Cold War. For
the past week, the students have been learning origins of
Vietnam. For this lecture, it will learn the how we got
involved during the war and why we started sending troops
to Vietnam
During the lesson, the students will answer their Cornell
notes, which is located on their handout. I will ask random
students to answer the Cornell notes.
