Todays Start: 26-year-old Brooks Hall makes his sixth start of the 2016 season in game four against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. The South Carolina native has appeared as a reliever at both the Triple-A and Double-A levels
this year, posting a combined record of 4-2, with an ERA of 4.26. As a starter, the right-hander is 2-0 with an ERA of
2.25, and holding opponents to a .140 average.
Last Outing: Hall took a no-hitter into the sixth inning against the Birmingham Barons on July 18 before giving
up a single to Keenyn Walker. The Shuckers dropped the game, 2-0, but the right-hander shut out the Barons over
seven innings, giving up just two walks, walking one and striking out a season-high, eight.
vs. Pensacola: Hall will be making his ninth career appearance (seventh start) against the Blue Wahoos. Hall
started the inaugural game for Biloxi against Pensacola on April 9, 2015 with five scoreless innings, surrendering
three hits, walking two and striking out three in the Shuckers 4-0 victory.
2016: Started the season with Triple-A Colorado Springs and went 1-1 with an 8.10 ERA in 8 games... Transferred
to Biloxi from Helena on 5/9... Tossed five no-hit innings against the Birmingham Barons before allowing a single to
Keenyn Waler in the sixth on 7/18.
2015: Hall started the inaugural game for the Biloxi Shuckers, hurling five innings of shutout baseball in a 4-0 win

The former Minor League infielder spent nine seasons with the Milwaukee (1987-92, 94-95) and Kansas City (1993) organizations. He collected a .242 career batting average over nine seasons as a middle infielder.
Mike was born into a baseball family as Sandy and his father, Epy, was a renowned scout in the Dominican Republic who unearthed over 40 Major League players. Mike
was named after former Major League pitcher Mike Torrez, who was a friend of his father. His uncle, Mario Guerrero, was a Major League infielder with Boston (1973-74),
St. Louis (1975), California (1976-77) and Oakland (1978-80).
Mike and his wife Larissa reside in Melbourne, Fla and the couple has two sons, Michael and Daniel. Mike was born in Santo Domingo, DR.
