1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce
words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation
2.2.1 Able to read and apply word recognition and word attack skills by matching
words with graphics.
2.2.3 Able to read and understand sentences (3-5 words) in linear and non linear texts
with guidance.
By the end of the lesson students should be able to:
a) understand the five types of toys by matching the words with their pictures
b) identify their own favourite toys by choosing a toy they like out of five toys
c) read and write the description of the favourite toy bar chart with guidance.
