blossomedintofactinmylife.
Ialsoknow,notonlyfrompersonalexperiencebutfrometernalvision,thatthespiritualstatesofthesoul
areeternal.Thatlikeatraveler,individualmanpassesthroughstatesbutthestatesremainforever.
Without the help of any man or government you could lose everything you possess and become
dependentuponsociety.Allyouneeddoisenterthestateofpoverty.Oragain:withoutaskingforhelp
youcouldassumewealthbyoccupyingthestate.Remainfaithfultoitandyouwilldiscoverthatthestate
hasitsownwayofexternalizingitself.Youmust,however,givethedesiredstateoccupancy.
Howdoyouoccupyastate?Byaskingyourselfhowyouwouldfeel,whatyouwouldsee,hear,touch,
taste,andsmellifyourdreamwerereal.Taketimetosetthestage.Beingthestarofyourproduction,
placeyourselfcenterstage,thenallowafriendtoenterandseeyouinyournewstate.Writethescript
thewordshewouldsaywhenheseesyou.Feelhistouch.
Clotheyourselfwiththerealityofthestateyouhavejustcreatedinyourimagination.Youneednotask
anyone'spermissionorhelp,butmovingintothenewstateinyourimagination,simplyremainthereuntil
youfeelitsreality.Thenletthefeelinggoitswaytowardfulfillment.
A friend recently wrote, saying: "Not understanding why I read the Bible but never attend church, a
friendbroughtagroupofmissionariesfromtheMormonchurchtothehousetoconvertme.Regretfully,
I invited them in, and no matter what I said they would not listen. Rather, they expressed their own
opinionsandwouldnotletmespeak.
"ThatnightwhilereviewingmydayIthoughtofthesepeople,andwonderedhowanyonecouldgive
suchlove,devotion,sincerity,time,energy,andmoney,towhatIcalled`reverentbaloney.'
"Dwelling upon that thought, I fell asleep and dreamed I was in a very strange and barren land, with
craterseverywhere.Hundredsofpeoplewerewalkingdownalongroadway,leavingbehindagirl,who
waspossessedbyascreamingvoice.Curiousthere,asIamhere,Iwantedtoseethegirl.WhenIsawher
pitypouredforthfromme.Isatbesideher,putmyarmsaroundhertooffersympathy,whensuddenlythe
voice began to scream from within me. Then the girl arose, and walked away completely cured as I
awoke."

My friend was shown how discriminating one must become.The moment you contemplate something
youbecometheverythingyoubehold.Entertainingastateinsympathy,myfriendenteredit.Thatnight
herheavenlyFathertaughtheragreatlesson.Thatnomatterhowawakeonemaybeinthisworld,no
oneisexemptfromfallingintoastate.
Blakeunderstoodthistruthwhenhesaid:"FromthisIrealizethatneitherthejustnorthewickedareina
supremestate,buttobeeveryoneofthemstatesofthesleepwhichthesoulmayfallintoinitsdeadly
dreamsofgoodandevil,whenitleftparadisefollowingtheserpent."Theserpent,thewisestofGod's
creations,isthepersonificationofGod'swisdomandpower.Itwashewhotoldthewoman:"Youwill
notsurelydie,butwillbecomeasthegods,knowinggoodandevil."
Entering a world of death, you will seem to die to those who cannot follow you but not to yourself.
Instead,youarerestoredtoanunaccountablyyoungbody.Youmayleaveanoldbodywithmissinghair
andteeth,tofindyourselfinahealthy,newbodywithyourhairandteethintact.ThisIknowtobetrue,
formyvisionisopenandIhaveseenthosewhohavedepartedthislife.Iknowtheyarenotgone,butare
restoredtowearanew,young,andhealthybody.
Now,astatemaybeenteredeitherdeliberatelyorunknowingly,butyouaregoingtobecomewhatyou
contemplate. The world's wise men believe we are heading for the end, but its climax has already
occurred.Whileonthecross,thesewordswerespoken:"Itisfinished."Thisagehasalreadyendedand
anentirelynewanddifferentageintowhichweareallmovinghasbegun.
ToBlake,spacewasawoman,whileeverythinginitwasMan,andManwasGod.Blakesawtheworld
asaplayofsixthousandyears,withadooropeningtoEdeneverytwohundredyears.Wethinkweare
movinginonedirection,yeteverythingistakingplacenow,andeverytwohundredyearsanindividual
canentertheNewAge.
Letmenowtellyouofavisiontheladyhad,whosharedthedreamofthescreaminggirl.Onenightas
shewasmentallyreviewingherday,alongtableappearedbeforeherinnereye.Ajudge,robedinblack
andwearingawhitewig,wassittingatoneendholdingagavel.Lookingdirectlyather,thejudgeraised
hisgavel,loweredittothetableandproclaimed:"Theincurrenteyewitness."
Thewordincurrentmeansgivingpassagetoacurrentthatflowsinward,suchasaspongewhenplacedin
water. This lady has been conditioned by Divine Providence to receive spiritual communion. Whether
shelikesitornotshewillbecompelledtoreceiveit,forsheisalreadyawake!Shewillbringbackvision
aftervisionparallelingscripture,forscriptureonlyrecordsfinishedhistory.
BlakedescribedtheBibleas:"TheDivinewrittenlawofHorebandSinai,"whichistheOldTestament.
"AndsuchtheHolyGospelofMountOlivetandCalvary,"whichistheNewTestament.
EveryconceivablepartthatMancouldplayisopenlydescribedintheOldTestament,foreachindividual
recorded there represents a state of this age. The New Testament describes the entrance into the New
Age.Itreadsasthoughithappenedtooneperson,asabiographybuttheNewTestamentrecordsstates
whichunfoldintheindividual.

Whenthepriestheardthis,hetookthelittleboybythehair,andscreamed:"Whatafiendishere!"Then
heburnedthelittleboy,ashehadburnedothersbefore.
Thelittleboyspokenofhereiseveryoneinthisworld.Iknow,foritisimpossibletotranscendathinking
being.Therefore,itisimpossibleforathinkingbeingtoknowathoughtgreaterthanself.
IfGodthecreatorofalllifewantstobeknownandlovedbyyou,Hemustbecomeyou,forHecannot
discoveranyotherthanSelf.ThatiswhyitwasnecessaryforGodtobecomeasyouarethatyoumay
beasHeisforifGoddidnotbecomeyou,youcouldneverknowHim.
Beingathinkingbeing,youareunabletoknowathoughtgreaterthanyourselfforGodtheFatherof
alllifebecameindividualizedinorderforyoutodiscoverthatyouareHe.AndbecauseGodisaFather,
hemusthaveachild.Therefore,onedayGod'sson,David,willcallyouFatherandyourtrueidentity
willberevealed.ThereisnootherwaytodiscoveryourFatherhood.
Iurgeyoutodreamnobly.Althoughyourdreammayseemimpossible,inviteitintoyourconsciousness
byfeelingitisreal.Wearthisfeelingasyouwouldasuitofclothes,andpersistuntilthefeelingtakeson
thetonesofreality.Dothat,andinawaynooneknows,yourdesirewillappearasaneruptionofyour
continuousthought.
Yourdesirestartedinmotionwhenyouworeit.Itsappearanceissimplyahiddencontinuitywhichcame
tothesurface.Dwelluponathought,andyouwillrealizethatitisnotoriginal.Thatthethoughtitselfis
completeandthereforeeverythoughtisDivineplagiarism!
Enteramoodandwatchthethoughtsthatcometoyouwhilethere.Ifyouwanttobeknown,getintothe
mood by feeling recognized as you move about. Then as the feeling becomes familiar you will be
amazedhowthingswillreshufflethemselvesandyouwillgetthepublicityyoudesire.Itmaynotbevery
flattering,butifyoureallywanttobeknown,youwillbe.
"Whateveryoudesire,believeyouhavereceiveditandyouwill."Knowingwhatyouwant,assumeyou
haveitandletnoonedivertyou.Doyourfather'swill,believinginthefeelingofyourwishfulfilled.Try
it, for this simple principle will not fail you. But remember: you are its power, as it does not operate
itself.Icantellyouhowtomoveintoanotherstate,butyoumustmoveintoit.Noonecandoitforyou.
Yousee,statesarepermanentanditisuptoyoutogetoutofthestateyouarenowinifitisundesirable
toyou.
OnedayaladyinNewYorkCitycametoseemeregardingherstomachproblems.Whileshewasthere
wetalkedofhigherthings,andafterthesilenceshereturnedtoherhomeonStatenIsland.Arrivingthere,
shewentintoafavoriteGermanrestaurantandateallthefoodshehadn'tbeenabletoeatinyears,with
noilleffects.Ididn'tgivethisladyanypills.Idon'tevenknowwhatastomachlookslike!Isimplygot
thisladytomovefromthestatethathadthebadstomach!
Leave the state containing poverty and move into the state containing wealth, and wealth will take on
reality.Thisroomhasrealityandsubstancebecauseyouarethinkingfromit.Thinkofaroom,however,
anditisbutashadow.Thinkofastateanditseemsamerepossibility.Butenteritbythinkingfromthe
state, and it is the only reality. Blake said: "If the spectator could only enter into the image in his

Imaginationifhecouldmakeafriendandcompanionofhisimage,hewouldrisefromthegraveand
meettheLordintheheavens."
Now,buriedinastate,youareaspectatorofotherstates.Butifyouwillrisefromyourpresentstateand
buryyourselfinanother,youwillexpressit.Ifyoucanbewhatyouwanttobe,whynotbecomeit?Why
sitinastateyoudislikeandargue,whenyoucanmoveintoanotherstateinyourimagination?Butonce
youhavemovedintothestateofyourfulfilleddesire,don'tbelikeLot'swife.Don'tlookbackatyour
formerstateandpreserveit,forsaltisapreservative.
EverycharacterintheBibleisastateofconsciousnessthatyou,anindividual,willpassthrough,foryou
areimmortal.Havingdescendedintoaworldofdeath,youpassthroughstatesbutyoucannotdie.Blake
tells us: "The oak is cut down by the ax and the lamb is stayed by the knife, but their forms eternal
remainforever.
Stepoutofthisgarmentandyouwillinstantlystepintoanother.Ninetypercentofthosewholeaveare
totallyunawareofwhathashappened.Observingtheirpassage,wethinktheyhavedied,buttheydonot
dietothemselves.Theydonotevenrecognizethechange,anymorethanyoudowhenyouareasleep.
The moment you become aware that you are dreaming, you wake up. But if you do not awaken it is
becauseyouhavepassedthroughthegatewecalldeath,tocontinueyourdream.
In your night dream you take everything for granted until you begin to become aware that you are
dreaming.Ifyoufindyourselfwaking,trytograbasolidobject,likeapostbutnotananimal,nomatter
howtameheappearstobe.Holdtheobjectandwillyourselftowakeup,andyouwillawakeninyour
dreamtofindyourselfinaworldwhichisjustasrealasthisone.
Whenthishappensdon'tgetpanicky,asyouwillcomeback.Instead,ifyouhaveanyredbloodinyou
investigatetheworldyoufindyourselfin,andyouwilldiscoverthepeopletherearejustasstupid,justas
ambitious,andjustassoundasleepastheyarehere.Ihavebeenshutoutofthisworldmanytimes,to
return to find this body cataleptic for maybe twenty or twentyfive seconds before I could animate it
again.IfsometimeIdonotgetback,thedoctorswillcutupthebodytoseewhyIdied.Theywillcome
to some conclusion but if they are honest with themselves, they will know that there was no physical
reasonformydeath.Isimplyleftanddidnotreturn.
Butwhileyouarehere,whynotlivewell?Ithinkwewillallagreethatitiseasierlivingwhenwehave
wealththanwhenwearepoor.Ihavenodesiretohavelotsofthings,butifanythingcanbeminebythe
simple act of assumption, why not assume it? No power on earth can stop you from imagining. The
morningpaperrecordswhathappened,buttheydonottellyouthecause.Whoknowswhoisdreaming
whatishappeningtoday?
TwoyearsagoIwatchedtheKentuckyDerbyontelevision.WillieShoemakerwasridingahorsewhich
was favored to win. The night before the race, the owner of the horse had a dream in which he saw
Shoemakerleadingbylengthsmisjudgethefinishlineandridethesaddletoeasethehorsetoosoon.
Thatisexactlywhathappened.Shoemaker,atrulygreatjockey,misjudgedthefinishline,thenrealizing
his mistake he could not get enough energy again to win the race and therefore lost it. But who
controlledShoemaker'sbehavior?TheownertoldShoemakerthedreambeforetheraceandhelistened
attentivelythen,inthephysicalevent,hecouldn'tdoanythingaboutit.Shoemakertookthebrunt.He
wascondemnedandreceivedhissentence,whichwasafinanciallosstohimbutShoemakerdidn'thave
thedreamtheownerofthehorsedid!

Youdonothavetohaveadreamofthenighttoinfluencethebehaviorofothers.Youcandreamduring
thedayandinfluencethem,aseveryoneiscontainedwithinyou."Allthatyoubehold,thoughitappears
without it is within, in your Imagination of which this world of mortality is but a shadow." (William
Blake)Ifeveryoneiscontainedwithinyou,youdonotneedtheirpermissiontobeusedtoexternalize
yourdream!Theownerusedthehorse,thejockeyandeveryonewhobetontheevent,toexternalizehis
dream. He entered the state unknowingly but couldn't escape its effect. He lost the race in the same
mannerinwhichhehadenvisionedit.
Youcansitquietlyandenteragloriousdream.Ifit'sshadowy,youarenotinit.Persistuntilyouenterit,
anditwillbecometheonlyreality.Liveinthestateofyourfulfilleddesirenow,knowingthatinaway
unknownandunnoticedbyyouitwillerupttobecomeanobjectivefact.
Takethechallengeofscripture:"Whateveryoudesire,believeyouhavereceiveditandyouwill."Dare
tobelieveyouhavewhatreasonandyoursensesdeny.Persistinyourassumptionanditwillhardeninto
fact.Tryitandsee!Andremember:theFatherwhobecameyouisspeakingtoyouthroughthemedium
ofdreamandrevealinghimselfinvision,forthisworldisHisplay!
Onedayyouwillleavethisplay,knowingyouareGodtheFatherwhoconceiveditall.Beginningasthe
oneGod,wefellasthegods.ButwewillreturntotheoneGod,forittakesallofustoformtheLord.
"HearOIsrael,theLordourGod,isoneLord."
Takethechallengeofscriptureandassumethefeelingofthewishfulfillednotonlyforyourself,butfor
yourfamilyandfriends.Whenyouimagineforanother,youarereallygivingittoyourself,asthereisno
other.Thewholevastworldisonlyyourselfpushedout.
