Homework
Homework is checked the day after you get the assignment. You will receive a maximum of 4 points per assignment if you complete the a
Notebooks
Notebooks will be given a grade at the end of every unit.
Quizzes
Quizzes will be given throughout each unit to test how well you understand the material.
Tests & Projects
A test or project is given at the end of every unit.

Extra Credit

There are many opportunities for


extra credit in this class. Every unit
will have a few pages at the back,
which can be completed for some
extra credit points. They will be
added onto either a quiz or a test
grade. Also, on every test or project
there will be ways in which you can
earn extra points towards your
grade.

What happens if we dont do our


homework?
The RMS Homework Policy will be
followed. Students will be expected to make
a homework appointment that day after
school, the following morning, or the next
day after school. If the student decides to
skip they will receive an office referral and
will loose points towards their grade.

Can we retake tests and Quizzes?


Tests & quizzes can be retaken before or after school with an appointment. Once in my room
you must correct the mistakes you made on your quiz or test in a different color than you took
your quiz or test in and on a separate sheet of paper. When it is turned in you will receive half
credit back on the problems you answer correctly. However, you can only receive a high score of
a 90% on any quiz or test that you make corrections on.

What can we do to be successful?

Do your HOMEWORK There is quite a bit of homework, but it is meant


to help you. If you have trouble with the homework, dont wait until class
to ask for help (It will be late!). See me before school or after school or
email me!
STUDY for Tests & Quizzes Practice, practice, practice the skills we
are learning! Study vocabulary. Practicing will help!
Keep up with your Notebook Your notebook is your lifeline. If you are
absent, make sure you make up all the notes, especially since they are
graded.
ASK QUESTIONS!!! Dont be afraid to ask for help. Im available
before & after school most days.

I am a graduate of College of Saint Mary. This is my 4th year at RMS and I am super
excited to work with the students, parents, and the community of Ralston. When not at
school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Michael, and my 7 year-old son, Brayden,
