Dear Colleagues,
I want to bid farewell to you. I will be joining the Sunnyside School District as their Chief Schools Officer
overseeing all K-12 schools. I have learned so much during my 15 years in TUSD, and I have enjoyed my time
with all of you!!
It has been an amazing experience working with you these last two years, and I will miss your enthusiasm,
perseverance, collaborative spirit and, of course, the talent that you bring to each of your schools. I believe in the
work that we, as a district, have been doing under Dr. Sanchezs leadership. He has been a great mentor for me
and I have learned many positive leadership qualities that assisted me in obtaining my new position in Sunnyside.
I thank you for all your support, throughout our time together, and I know that you will continue to accomplish
great things in the future. My fellow colleagues I wish you all, and everyone in the larger TUSD family, the very
best.
