PROJECT DESIGN

Title:
Computer-Based Accounting for Non-Accountants (Quick Books)
Rationale:
Number of accounting-based job personnel is not certified accountants. The
skills they have being maximized and utilized are learned, acquired and
experienced. This observation is common, however, for the near future these
people cannot combat the trending innovations if they would remain in their
own organizations without undergoing trainings. Training in this concept is
referred to the enhancement of their skills for them to be confident in doing
their tasks. An untrained employee is least confident employee. If the
employee is characterized almost this half, then he cannot be a help to his
organization especially then the coming of experts is very observant. Finally,
some problems facing small businesses today is the lack of knowledge in
measuring income and even monitoring.
Methodology:
This is a classroom typed of training, theories will be presented, and hand on
techniques will be applied (coaching, mentoring).
Beneficiary:
Participants are limited to 30. Participants are coming from Small Business
Enterprises, Lending Companies, Cooperatives, Pawnshops. The training is
just only good for one day but turn to next day or two depending on the
number of participants.
Venue:
STI College General Santos, its computer laboratory if it is computer based.
Budgetary Requirements:
The participants is required to pay registration fee of 500.00 for their hand
outs, trainers stipends, snacks and meals, certificates.
Resource Speakers:
STI College of Business and Accountancy CPAs
