The factors and conditions (such as economic dimension, technology
dimension, sociocultural dimension, political legal dimension, international dimension) that generally affect everyone in an industry or market in more or less similar manner. 1. Economic dimension: Economic condition or situation can influence educational institutions also. For example- Assume economic condition of Bangladesh is not good and inflation is high. In this situation, people will think before expenditure. So if United International University charge high trimester fee parents might not admit their children here because of high trimester fee which they might cannot effort because of inflation. So we can say that economic dimension can influence decision of United International University. 2. Technology dimension: Technology can play vital part influencing decisions of educational institutions. For example- Every good university are using high quality technology (projector, computers and others) for teaching purposes. If United International University dont use same quality or higher quality technology for teaching purpose new students might not attract. So United International University needs to up to date with technology so they could provide better education and attract new potential students. 3. Sociocultural dimension: Socio culture has few functions (customers, norms, values, demographic characteristics) which not only influence business but also educational institutions. For example- parents are now willing to high trimester fee for quality educations and good environment for study.
