Target markets included engineering firms, design/build electrical contractors, facility managers, owners and owner-agents.
May 2015: BRITE GREEN,LLC contracted as representative for LIGHT CORP., manufacturer of high
quality commercial/industrial LED high bay applications and Kanepei's wireless lighting control systems.
2016: LIGHT CORP shut down manufacture of high bay LED technologies and control systems ending all contracts for independent representatives and distributors.

SELF-FUNDED SABBATICAL

April 2012 - April 2013

Sailed the South Pacific: While vacationing in Hawaii in December 2011, I received an offer to participate as crew aboard a sailing yacht in April 2012. Departing from Oahu, HI, the voyage destination
was the French Polynesian islands of Tahiti and Moorea. Encouraged by my wife, we worked out how
we could self-fund this adventure and how, after my return, we could fund the time required to move
forward in my career. The yacht left port mid-April. It was not what I expected, more than I could
have imagined and valuable beyond the measure of dollars.

Career Research and Travel: Having the experience of successful sales territory management, I investigated opportunities for Manufacturer Representation. Looking at commercial/industrial trends, I
specifically targeted green technologies in the commercial/industrial markets. In addition to classic
study approaches of research, I also traveled to industry shows and conventions to pursue personal
contacts and experience hands-on product demonstrations. My initial product representation contracts
were the result contacts made at these venues.
