Reflection of Learning
1. What did I learned?
I learned about curriculum in schools and its definition, nature and
scope. The basis of education is the curriculum that it upholds; the lesson 1
discussed the educational system and the important part of both public and
private entities in delivering the needs in learning. Congruently, the second
lesson is about the definition, nature and scope. I learned that curriculum has
a broad definition. It has a systematic way of implementation based on
needs and emerging curricular outcomes of school- both private and public.
2. I realized the importance of understanding curriculum with the points of
views presented in both traditional and progressive view of curriculum. It has
impacted my knowledge in dealing with students with curriculum as
influenced by the principles presented.
3. I will apply this knowledge in dealing with my students. It would also
helped me in creating a systematic way of planning long term and short term
goals with my teaching career not to mention my goal in passing the
licensure exam in teaching and eventually my pursuit to career
advancement.
