Social Media affects Teens in a bad way. For example social media harms teenagers
Brain, social media create cyber bullying, social media makes us less social in real life, social
media is waste of time because one can easily get addicted and lose track of time, and lastly
social media create judgments which leads to hatred. Also we spend most of our lives online than
before and people are becoming lazier we need to get out more.
Social media harms teenagers brain. For example there are a lot of inappropriate sites
such as Pornographic that can be easily get accessed to. Teenagers lose their innocence just a
click away. Teenagers are supposed to be getting more than 8 hours of sleep every night as their
brain is still developing. Social media can be addicting because one person can not stay certain
period of time without feeling like the need to check Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and
all other social media. Researchers took Magnetic resonance imaging brain scans from 18
university students, aged 19, who spent eight to 13 hours of social media six days a week
(Harris.2)..Most of the student they became social media addict.
Social media create cyber bullying study shows that twenty one percent of teens has been
cyber bullied and about fifteen percent confessed to cyber bullying. Been cyber bullied
sometimes makes teenagers have a suicidal thought or makes them commit suicide. cyber
bullying starts with joking around and then the other person takes the wrong way, without your

intention to been mean. It also can go the other way an known person can start using your
pictures and your privacy and putting as their own just because they wants to harm you and harm
the others pretending to be you. Everything you put on social media can always be used against
someone. Thinking you are safe by putting your stuffs on private doesnt mean it cannot be
found by others. Remember when you're about to post on social media that it will always stay
there forever.
Social media makes us less social in real life. One indication a recent Pew Research
survey of adults in the U.S. found that 71% use Facebook at least occasionally, and 45% of
Facebook users check the site several times a day. For instance people who spend a lot of time in
Facebook and have a lot of internet friends do not have friends in real life. You will see someone
with almost a thousand friends on Facebook and talks to them 24/7 but all of them are strangers
but they feel close to them instead of a real life friends. Social media users feel like the outside
world is boring and that is why they are always on their phones. Teenagers dont play outside
like they used to before anymore. For another example is that kids nowadays are on phones more
than playing outside with their friends and having fun. They dont know how to have fun
anymore and if they do they are enjoying being in social media apps. Social media made people
less social because instead of them going out with friends and enjoying their time with families
they rather be on sites like Twitter, Facebook and etc. And when it comes to family gather dinner
no one pays attention to each other because they dont know how to communicate with each
other and they are all on their phones. The opposing arguments may say social media sites it is
good because it allows them to connect with friends and family who are far from them. But there
is nothing wrong with connecting with your loves one in social media it depends on how you use
it and how many time you spending and wasting instead of connecting in real life.

On the other hand Facebook has no privacy whatsoever. Other people who are strangers to you
gets too involved in your life. People will stalk you and they will know everything that is going
on with your life. For instance when you post pictures of you or your family, strangers might
save them and use them as their profile pictures. People create false Facebook and use others
pictures as them for a fake ID. A lot jealousy can happen on Facebook as well because, when you
post stuff like what you for the day or where you went, people on your friends list can get jealous
and create hatred against you.
Social media is a waste of time is very addictive to some people especially to teenagers and it
can take over our life. why is social media big part in our life is because we got bored in the real
world, because I remember when there were no such thing called social media before Facebook
everyone in this world had great time and we played games such hide and sick or after school we
used to hang out with friends but not anymore (Larry et all.94). why every teen concerned with
the amount of followers or likes they have which is pointless and you wont get anything from it
for example teens cant eat food without taking picture of, because we need to show our friends
what we are eating, and having a diner with family or friends and the food is on the table we say
stop lets take a picture of the food then we will eat the food, really is that the way we want with
our life. Besides using Facebook, you dont get money from its people who create gets a lot of
money just because everyone is using it and what happened to the rest of people jobless
The opposing argument social media is not waste of the time we chat with our friends and
relatives even though we are not living close to them, it depends on simply how we use it and
what we uses it for. For example, some people may use it to gain help by someone or to share an
important message to people all around the world as they may not have contact with . It is an

amazing tool if it is used correctly like communicating about our school work or group. If it is
abused or overused it can be damaging but if we use it smartly it can be a great tool.
Social networking is cyber terrorism. Law rule agencies, including the FBI, say that
terrorist groups use these sites to actively help their causes and finding new members. Research
shows that about 90 percent of terrorist activity on the Internet made up of using social
networking tools for example ISIS who knew them before they put themself in social media
pretending they are Muslims, they create Facebook account and their profile says that they are
Muslims and have picture with guns and bomb, they will have tons of friends on Facebook, even
little kids who uses Facebook will have friends with them. (Magouirk.327.)Those horrible
groups will make 1.2 billion people look bad. And rest of the world will hate Muslims because of
them.
Another thing social media creates is divorce. Such as spouses who have social media
putting picture on of those media or talking to other women or men who are married. Like for
instance I am using Facebook and my husband tells me who are you talking and I say oh nobody
then when you get up from the computer , he will see who you were talking to and thats it end of
the marriage (Andre at all.10) .The dark social media is that it has dating sites which is so bad
because you dont know the person and you dont know where he lives or where he's from, we
only know that the person is very attractive, but do you that he has or she has someone else
picture, and the crazy part is when you fall in love with stranger who is basically a psychopath

who finds their next victims on social media and most of the rapist they get there people from
Facebook or whatever place you have your information. The opposing argument but police uses
social net Social media can be wonderful but sometimes it can be all lot dangerous than you
think it is.
One reason about social media is amazing, you can talk to your friends, family, or
relative. It can be amazing taking to friends but you cant believe them sometimes. One reason
about social media is that it can be dangerous, one day a girls friend told her to come outside but
is it wasnt her friend, it was a boy. He had accidently tripped her and she was badly injured. Im
telling this story because I was just creatively in spired to tell girls or boys to be careful about
social media. Bankruptcy attorneys stay in touch with colleagues but they be careful on what
they put on social media.( Rosner et all.470) Some articles discuss that it has an increasing of
blogs related to bankruptcy. It suggests that attorneys be caution on what they put on social
media. They be really careful on what informations they put on Facebook, twitter, and other
social things. I want the young audience to be like the attorneys and be caution to what they put
on social media. Work to catch and prosecute criminals which is good.
The article is about what to know about a live video like, social medias latest craze.
Facebook is investing thing but a man named Mark put a live video, of course twitter had it and
it has lot of likes. You need to put a safe video that will that is not bad or dont put a video at all.

Some people go in prison for putting a live video that was not supposed to in social media. Im
giving advice to lot of people out there so nothing bad happens. I was inspired of this article and
forever will be and I want to thank the people who wrote the article they might even inspire lots
of young audience. Theres an article talking about a woman that said to Planned Parenthood was
good to do but I dont believe that because why would you give an abortion. A women tried to do
Planned Parenthood but when she tried to give abortion but failed because of birth control and,
New York City wanted to give young audience a message about sexual and reductive health. I
know give a message about sexuality is barely good but who would reductive health, I mean
health is part of your life but there is no need to reductive health. Young women are giving
abortion back because of the social media.
Young audience are going to the social media and checking abortion I mean why they
couldnt have their kids and not giving abortion. I think Planned Parenthood is a bad thing to do
especially abortion. What public need to understand is dont use social media the wrong way ,use
as correct way ,and look what your kids doing on social media , dont but yourself in social
media. 'I'm not against social media. But before they start social networking, they need to learn
to make real relationships with people.
