Procedure

Teacher introduces the action verb by guessing game.


Three pupils are selected to act the actions from the guessing games.
Teacher asks he pupils where the places they can do the action.

Pre- reading

Pupils are asked to complete a mind map related to the things that we can do at the places in school. (Appendix 2).
Q and A sessions with the pupils to get them to be interested.
Q and A sessions are to elicit knowledge from the pupils.
Pupils are introduced to the new vocabularies
Pupils are asked to look at/guess the meaning of the new vocabularies.
Some of the vocabularies are taught to the pupils using pictures associated with the word
The other vocabularies are taught using explanation and contextual clues.

Teacher reads aloud the story of Faizals Day at School at mah-jong paper.
The teacher asks some interactive questions to get feedback from the pupils as the teacher reads aloud the reading

text.
Pupils are asked if there are any more words that they are unfamiliar with.
Pupils are asked to read the story silently.
Pupils are divided into groups.

Teacher distributes the worksheet of sequencing activities to each group.

Pupils are given to complete the comprehension questions. (Appendix 5)


Pupils will check the answers with the teacher.

Worksheets are distributed to pupils.


The worksheets are designed to help the pupils to write a letter to their friend.
A letter template is given to guide pupils in writing a letter to their friends to tell them about their favorite

places and what they like to do at the places in the school.


Teacher asks the pupils to withdraw the name of their friends to use at the letter.

Select a few pupils and ask them to read their letters .


Teacher inserts moral values for today lesson.

Pupils will return the letter to their friends name that they withdraw earlier.
