Project Justification

Brief Narration on the Need of the Project: (Use statistics / Diagrams to explain)

Andhra Pradesh is building a new city after the bifurcation of state in February 2014. As per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation act, Hyderabad is
becoming new capital city for Telangan state. Hence ,Amravati is the newly proposed capital city for the Andhra Pradesh.
The capital city is being built newly ,lots of new projects are proposed for the city such as capital complex, IT complexes, Landscapes,residential
zones, commercial buildings etc. As the city is developing in various sectors, various architectural projects will be proposed. Andhra Pradesh has
also gained its special place because of its rich culture and art. Andhra Pradesh has its own huge collection of its performing arts. It also includes
music, drama, dance, painting etc. Because of such big history and important culture and arts there are few special spaces are specially provided
in newly proposed city master plan for Amravati.

To maintain such a great culture and art and the other cultural activities at one place, the basic idea is to design a cultural center where all the
cultural activities, educational activities, entertainment activities will take place. It will also provide a platform for arts and literature students as well
art lovers. It will also help in development of Amravati culturally as well as economically and socially.

Which also will be served as important place for cultural activities and educational activities.

1. As the design consist many functions, design has to functional in various ways
such as Circulation, parkings etc.

2. As the designing is for cultural and art events, designed spaces should give that
Feel of that place specific activities going on.

3. Keeping natural elements in mind, design should be in such way that there should
be maximum use of natural elements.

4. Privacy will be maintained wherever it is required.

Cultural center is the building is mainly a place where all the Cultural activities takes place. Not only culture but it is also the place for the
performing arts, dance drama, music,Paintings etc. It also helps in educational activities. It is the place where it's a platform for art lovers, literature
interested people and many others things.

Andhra Pradesh has its own culture and traditions where as capital city itself has some traditional culture. Amravati, itself has a historical
impotance. It has also got architectural history. In such city according to its culture and traditional Architecture newly proposed Cultural center will
be combination of traditional and modern architecture.

As the city is developing faster with modern architecture, buildings will be combination of modern and traditional Architecture. The basic idea is to
maintain its culture and tradition and design the structure using both the Architectural types.

SITE SELECTION CRITERIAS AND JUSTIFICATION

Site chosen for the cultural centre is near to the river kriahna. In propesd master plan
Of city Amravati, waterfront area is provided for public interest areas and entertainment areas. Cultural centre site will be one the part of these
propesd areas.
