results.Thepresentationtohighlighttheimprovementsandfeaturesthatareusefulfor

unscheduledmaintenanceandshutdownsandincreasedsafetyconcerns.Ultrasoniccorrosion
mappinginspectionisakeyaspectofinfrastructureintegrityprograms.Themainproblemof
thicknessgagingandconventionalUTistimeconsuming,lowdatadensity,inabilitytodo
monitoringsincethedatatakenperiodicallycannotbedirectlycompared.Thispresentationis
anexplorationofthecurrenttechnologiesforcorrosionmappingandthecomparisonsfor

developmentinvolvingOlympusRVIequipment.Healsospenthistimeundertheregional
trainingacademyasatrainertofacilitatetrainingforsalesstaffwithinOlympusaswellasfrom
relateddistributors,inadditiontoformulatingtrainingmaterialsfortheacademy.

HestartedhiscareerbyjoiningresearchanddevelopmenttechnicalteaminQubec,Canada
in2000,wherehewaspartofthesystemintegrationteamtodevelopPhasedArray
technologyintoonlineinspectionsystems.In2003,hebecameproductleaderforthe
OmniScanProductlinewhereheworkedatsolvingapplicationsnamelyinaerospaceandoil
andgasindustries.In2011,hetooktheroleofOmniScanproductmanagerwiththe
responsibilitiesofsupportingthedevelopment,productionandglobalmarketingofthedifferent
productsaroundadvancedinspectionsolutions.Throughaglobalexposure,hehasacquireda
wideperspectiveoftheNonDestructiveTesting(NDT)marketitselfaswelltheclient's
requirements.Morerecentlyin2015,hetooktheopportunitytorelocateinSingaporeasthe
NDTBusinessDevelopmentManager,supportingtheAsiaPacificRegion.
