1 How are the experience in reality arranged in the Cone of

Experience?

The cone of experiences is a visual model . a pictorial devices that represents

bands of experiences it is start with abstract high and ends in low concrete
1.) text/verbal symbols 2.) Pictures / visual symbols 3.) Audio /Recording /
Photos 4.) Motion pictures 5.) etc

2 Which way of is closest to the real world? What are the areas
farthest to the real world?
For me exhibit is the most farthest to the real world when it comes in cone of
experiences .
Why ? lack of funds in the public school they cant afford it when it comes to
fieldtrips . but the closest is the text verbal symbols . communication is the
act of transferring information through verbal . For example . In the class the
teacher will demo or teach them with text and also with verbal symbols
3 Is the basis of the arrangement of experiences difficulty of
experience or degree of abstraction (the amount of immediate
sensory participation involved?)
It will be a difficulty of experiences if you as a teacher did not prepare well
the lesson plan or your lesson ahead of time .
4 Do the bands of experience follow a rigid, flexible pattern? Why or
why not?
For me yes . The cone of experiences , it has information , motor skills
attitude and cognitive skills
5 Will it be interpreted literally or figuratively support your answer?
For me it is both literally and figuratively in literally you can teach using demo
, in figuratively for example If you say that a guitar solo literally blew your head off,

your head should not be attached to your body.

Can we over emphasize the amount of direct experience that is

required to learn a new concept? It needs to be balance ,
What is the cone of experience? The cone of experience is a pictorial device use to
explain the interrelationships of the various types of audio-visual media, as well as their individual
positions in the learning process

8 What are the learning aids found in the cone of experience?

For me a visual aid is a learning aids found in the cone of experience to help and explain the
interrelationships of the various types of audio-visual materials.

a direct purposeful experiences in reality is learning by doing , experience

which serves as the foundation of learning thats why we need to evaluate
the child after we implement our lesson through activities .
