Thisprojectallowsstudentschoiceanddecisionmakingtodriveeverything.Studentschoose

natureofhowtheywillgoabouthelping.Thestandardsarethesameforallstudentsasthey
mustlearnreading,writing,andspeakingproficiencyinEnglish.However,allstudentswill
decidebasedontheirinterestorbackgroundwhattheyread,whattheywanttowrite,andwhatto
saytothepublic.

projectwherethatstudentcanexcel.Forexample,studentswhofeelmorecomfortablespeaking
inEnglishwillbesuccessfulinpresentingandfilmingthevideo.Thosewhoexcelinwritingwill
succeedinwritingtheplanofaction,proposalandreflectionstatements.

Ithinkissuesmightariseintheresearchphaseoftheproject.Myfearisthatstudentswillbe
overwhelmedwiththenumerouspossibilities.Theywillneedtobeguidedandtotakethingsone
stepatatime.AnotherchallengecouldarrivewithstudentswhohaveverylittleEnglish
proficiencyplaceinmyclass.Readingandwritingwillbethemostchallengingaspectsofthe
projectforthesetypesofstudents.ToscaffoldforstudentswithlowproficiencyIwillcarefully
assigngroupsandwilladaptassignmentstoreflecttheirlevelofability.
ManagetheProcess
ListpreparationsnecessarytoaddressneedsfordifferentiatedinstructionforESL
students,specialneedsstudents,orstudentswithdiverselearningstyles.
Toaccountfordiverselearningstylesanddifferentiatedinstruction,Iwillusethestudent

provideoptionsintermsofassessmentsforstudentswithspecialneeds.Thedirectionofthe
