Ms. Hummell has expertise in design of multi-story concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures.
She has worked as a Lead Structural Designer with a wide range of structural project types
including single and multi-story industrial, commercial, retail, cultural, recreational, office and
residential buildings.
Ms. Hummell has led and supervised CAD technicians on developing construction documents
utilizing multiple CAD design packages including AutoCAD12, thru AutoCAD 2008,
Microstation J and Microstation V8. She also has had exposure to Revit 2008 and 2010 software.

Project involvement covers all phases of project development, including schematic design, design
development, construction documents, and submittal review. Each of these phases involved
coordination with architects and engineers.

STRUCTURAL DESIGNER - Responsible for the quality and production of the structural discipline CAD
work within the Retail and Distribution division of Carter Burgess in Fort Worth, TX. Experience at
Carter Burgess included the following projects:
INSPECTOR/PRODUCTION MANAGER
Responsible for creating and maintaining structural office standards, supervising drafting of other
structural CAD technicians and coordination of all projects, shop drawing review and construction
observation. Experience at R.L. Woods & Associates included the following projects:
•Several school additions and renovations for Arlington Independent School District
•Several new church facilities
•New facility for Arlington Women's Shelter
•New facility for YMCA
•City of Arlington Public Library addition
•Fire station addition
•Residential foundations and structures
On the managerial side, her experience also includes the evaluation and selection of
technical personnel working under her supervision.

Responsible for design and drafting of electrical systems relating to NVIS System on C-130
Aircraft utilizing AutoCAD 13

STRUCTURAL DESIGNER
Tasked with writing engineering orders, checking proposed changes for fit and function, and
incorporating such changes to the empennage, propulsion, and UARRSI sections of theC-17
Airlifter.

Served on committee to help direct AutoCAD drafting curriculum at Tarrant County Junior
College and ATI Career Training Center.
