When developing classroom rules, rules must


be consistent with school-wide expectations
(R.O.A.R.S.)
Classroom procedures/routines must be
explicitly stated.
Expected behaviors, routines, procedures
must be taught, modeled and reinforced until
mastered.
Acknowledge students who adhere to
prescribed routines and rules
Stay positive & attempt every intervention.
Document all behavioral incidents and
interventions
Refrain from yelling or shouting at /using
inappropriate language when redirecting
students.
Do not alienate students address issues in
private.
Do not put students out of class notify main
office of disruption security personnel will
be dispatched.
