2. SKILLS AND ABILITIES


I have strong mathematical skills and enjoy working with numbers. I also enjoy tackling problems
where numbers are involved.
I am well experienced in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. I am also familiar with
multiple programming languages; I have a basic understanding of assembly language programming
as well as Java, C++, Asp.net, HTML, C#, openGL, SQL, and Visual Basic.
I am a strong worker whether in a team or as an individual. I am a hard worker, and I always strive
to achieve my goals. I am a very particular person who ensures that a task is done on time but at
the same time ensure that it is completed to the best of my ability.
3. FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS

In 2007, I started attending Star College and in 2009, I matriculated with distinctions in Computer
Application Technology and Life Orientation and achieved an average mark of 68.12%.

In 2015, I graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a Bachelor of Science degree, with
majors in computer science and information systems.
In 2016, I enrolled at the University of KwaZulu-Natal studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce
with honours, majoring in Information Systems and Technology.
4. COMMUNITY SERVICE
I am part of the Frontline team at Riverside Church in Westville North which forms part of the
Assemblies of God. My duties initially comprised of working the lighting equipment during the
morning and evening meetings on Sundays. I then gained more experience and moved onto the
main computer which controls the service and is a vital part of ensuring the service runs smoothly.
5. WORK EXPERIENCE
Mail & Guardian
In 2011, I gained experience counting the returns at Independent Newspapers.
I started merchandising the Mail & Guardian newspaper from September 2011.
I currently work part-time (Thursday nights for the distribution section of the company assisting
with the dispatching of the newspaper).
University of KwaZulu-Natal
In January of 2011, 2012 and 2013 I worked at the University of KwaZulu-Natal as a student
assistant helping students with online registration.
Avusa
From January 2006 to November 2006 I worked at a flea market, located near the Durban
Exhibition Centre, promoting the Sunday Times newspaper.
Toys R Us
From October 2013 to February 2014 I worked at Toys r us Pavilion as a shop assistant.
