Use the raw data

To make the summary statistics table, You have to highlight all of your raw data,
go to file, select options, and then select add ins tab and then therell be a
pop up window that will appear, go down on the page and there will be a click
down tab thing thatll say Excel Add-in, next to it, it says Go. Press Go. A
window will pop up and you have to tick off both of the analysis Toolpak
choices and then press ok
After this go to the data tab on your document. Somewhere on the top right
hand corner itll say data Analysis. Press that. When the window pops up, there
will be options, scroll down until you find descriptive Statistics. Press it. After
another window pops up, there will be something called input range , which is
the raw data you highlighted earlier. Output range is any cell where you want
your summary statistics table to appear. Also tick off Labels in the first row and
when your done press okay.
The summary statistics table will give you information about mode, median,
range, SD etc etc..
You can use that when youre explaining your graphs (stuff like skewness, gaps,
outliers, and correlation coefficients) and correlation and other crap.. LOL

After doing this, highlight the whole table you just

After highlighting the table, go to the insert tab, go to

charts and then add frequency histogram and it will

automatically make a histogram for you. All you got to do after is fix the title and
the axis titles

If you repeat this process for the other variables you can make frequency tables
but keep in mind that sometime you will get cumulative
Frequency table, so you will have to change the frequencies manually to the
relative frequencies.
After doing this, go to the insert tab, and then charts and you can add which
ever graph you think best suits the variable.
Ill send you my excel documents so you can get an idea of which graphs you can
make.
