Andrade L Caraveo-Anduaga JJ, Berglund P, et al: The

epidemiology of major depressive episodes: results from the
International Consortium of Psychiatric Epidemiology (ICPE) Surveys.
Int J Methods Psychiatr Res 12:3-21, 2003
This academic journal was from a resource I used through the school
library. I it is from NBAI(association for behavioral analysis
international) and the information is very precise. the annual

economic cost of depressive disorders in the United States may be

over $40 billion. The source seams very credible due to the fact it got
all of its information from DSM-3. This fits into my research because
the journal analysis the behavior of people with depression. If we can
recognize people who are in this situation we can bring more attention
to this topic.
"Depression Statistics: Unhappiness by the Numbers
[INFOGRAPHIC]." Depression Statistics: Unhappiness by the Numbers
[INFOGRAPHIC]. N.p., n.d. Web. 24 July 2016.
This source I found online alone with some very interesting
information. This source analyses the nature of depression, where and
how it comes about, and how to recognize it. And really provided a
deeper understanding of depression and the effects. assessment only
starts with the diagnosis, it does not stop with it. This source is
credible looking at all the references from other know credible
references at the bottom of the page
Murry CJL Lopez Ad(eds): The Global Burden of Disease: A
Comprehensive Assessment of Mortality and Disability for Disease,
Injuries and risk factors in 1990 and projected to 2020. Geneva World
Health Organization, 1996.
This source seams like it could be a good reference. This source has a
lot of personal information and field information. But the only down
side is that I can not find any references on it. So I can not prove the
credibility on the journal. The journal really gives you a description on

what depression is like and how other people have dealt with or found
help. 90% of patients with anxiety disorders develop Depression. It
also shows how close anxiety and depression are to one another. But
like I said unfortunately I can not prove the credibility.

"Substance Abuse and Suicide." Addiction Treatment Elements

Drug Rehab Treatment Centers. N.p., 2013. Web. 24 July 2016.
This source I found can prove to be very critical I feel. This source
providedes information to how there is not only one kind of depression.
And depression can be diagnosed in many different ways. One in five
people will suffer from depression during their lifetime, and it is the
leading cause of disability worldwide. Yhis source does seam very
credible due to the fact of other credible sources that are referenced in
the artical
