Antes de encender el producto, consulte la informacin de seguridad bsica incluida en este documento.
Informacin general sobre manipulacin y seguridad

Tenga en cuenta las siguientes pautas de sentido comn mientras utiliza el producto.
Entorno
Temperaturas de funcionamiento seguro. Utilice y guarde el producto a temperaturas que oscilen entre
los 0C/32F y los 40C/104F. Exponer el producto a temperaturas extremadamente bajas o altas podra
provocar daos, un funcionamiento incorrecto o incluso una explosin.
Durante la conduccin. Al conducir un vehculo, la conduccin es su primera responsabilidad. El uso de
accesorios o dispositivos mviles para realizar llamadas o utilizar otra aplicacin mientras conduce puede
provocar distracciones. No aparte los ojos de la carretera.
Cerca de material explosivo. No utilice el producto en zonas en las que las chispas del dispositivo puedan
provocar incendios o explosiones.
En aviones. Cumpla todas las normativas e instrucciones sobre el uso de dispositivos electrnicos. La
mayora de aerolneas permiten el uso de dispositivos slo durante el vuelo, no durante el despegue y el
aterrizaje. Hay tres tipos principales de dispositivos de seguridad en los aeropuertos: mquinas de rayos
X (empleadas para los artculos que se colocan en las cintas transportadoras), arcos magnticos (para las
personas que pasan por los controles de seguridad) y detectores magnticos manuales (dispositivos para
detectar objetos en personas o artculos especficos). Puede pasar el producto por los escneres de rayos
X del aeropuerto, pero no atraviese los arcos magnticos con el producto ni lo exponga a los detectores
magnticos manuales.
Siga siempre las normativas especficas para cada ubicacin. Apague el dispositivo en aquellas zonas en las
que est prohibido utilizarlo o en las que pueda causar interferencias o situaciones de riesgo.
Sustituir la correa de mueca por correas metlicas podra causar problemas de conectividad Bluetooth.
Consejos de seguridad
ADVERTENCIA: El soporte de conexin contiene imanes de gran potencia que pueden interferir con el
funcionamiento de marcapasos, tarjetas de crdito, relojes y otros objetos sensibles a los imanes.
Siga estas precauciones de sentido comn para evitar que se produzcan daos en el producto y reducir el riesgo
de incendios, descargas elctricas, explosiones o cualquier otra situacin de peligro:
Utilice solo cables, cargadores y accesorios suministrados por LG.
No deje caer, golpee ni sacuda el producto.
No doble, retuerza, caliente o tire del cable ni coloque objetos pesados sobre l o podra causarle daos.
Este producto incluye un cable USB que permite conectarlo a un ordenador porttil o de escritorio o al
cargador. Asegrese de que el ordenador cuenta con una conexin a tierra correcta antes de conectar el
producto al mismo. El cable de alimentacin de un ordenador porttil o de escritorio dispone de un conductor
de toma a tierra de equipo y un enchufe con toma a tierra. El enchufe debe estar conectado a una toma de
corriente correctamente instalada y conectada a tierra de acuerdo a los cdigos y ordenanzas locales.
No intente reparar, modificar ni reconstruir el producto. El dispositivo cuenta con una batera interna
recargable que nicamente se puede sustituir en un centro de reparaciones de LG autorizado o a travs de
LG.
No abra, desmonte, golpee, doble, deforme, perfore ni triture el producto.
No introduzca objetos extraos en el producto.
No coloque el producto en un horno microondas.
No exponga el producto a fuegos, explosiones u otros peligros.
Limpie el producto con un pao suave y hmedo. No utilice productos qumicos abrasivos (como alcohol,
benceno o disolventes) ni detergentes para limpiar el producto.
No deseche el producto y la batera junto con el resto de basura domstica, sino de acuerdo a la normativa
local.
Al igual que muchos otros dispositivos electrnicos, este producto genera calor durante su funcionamiento
normal. Si se ha utilizado de forma prolongada, el contacto directo con la piel sin la ventilacin adecuada
puede ser molesto o provocar quemaduras. Tenga cuidado al manipular el producto, tanto mientras lo utiliza
como despus.
Si tiene algn problema mientras utiliza el producto, deje de utilizarlo y pngase en contacto con un centro de
atencin al cliente autorizado de LG Electronics.
No sumerja ni exponga el producto al agua ni a otros lquidos.
El objetivo de los modos podmetro, suspensin, ejercicio y frecuencia cardaca no

es el de diagnosticar ninguna enfermedad, y solo deberan usarse con fines de ocio,
bienestar y deportivos.
La lectura de la frecuencia cardiaca puede verse afectada por las condiciones de
medida y el entorno. Antes de tomarse la frecuencia cardiaca, asegrese de estar
sentado y relajado.
Este producto es resistente al polvo y al agua segn la clasificacin IP67, que prueba
la inmersin en agua hasta un metro de profundidad y durante 30 minutos. No es
resistente a los golpes. La funda debe cerrarse por completo.
La lectura de la frecuencia cardiaca puede verse afectada por el estado de la piel, las
condiciones de medida y el entorno.
No mire nunca directamente a la luz del sensor de frecuencia cardiaca porque podra
daarle la vista.
Si su dispositivo se caliente en exceso, quteselo hasta que se enfre. La exposicin de
la piel a una superficie caliente durante mucho tiempo podra provocar quemaduras.
La funcin de frecuencia cardaca est diseada nicamente para medir la frecuencia
cardaca y no se utilizar para ningn otro fin.
Advertencias sobre la batera
No abra, desmonte, golpee, doble, deforme, perfore ni triture la batera

No modifique ni reconstruya la batera, no intente introducir objetos extraos en ella, no la sumerja ni exponga
al agua u otros lquidos, y no la exponga a incendios, explosiones u otro tipo de peligros.
Utilice la batera solo con el sistema para el que se ha especificado.
Utilice nicamente un sistema de carga que cumpla los requisitos de certificacin del estndar para sistemas
de batera IEEE 1725 de la CTIA. El uso de bateras o cargadores no certificados puede provocar incendios,
explosiones, fugas u otro tipo de peligros.
No cortocircuite la batera ni permita que objetos metlicos conductores entren en contacto con los terminales
de la batera.
Sustituya la batera nicamente por otra que cumpla los requisitos del sistema de acuerdo con el estndar
IEEE-Std-1725. El uso de bateras no certificadas puede provocar incendios, explosiones, fugas u otro tipo
de peligros. La sustitucin de la batera solo debera llevarla a cabo un proveedor de servicio acreditado (si la
batera no puede sustituirla el usuario)
Debe supervisarse el uso de la batera por parte de menores.
No deje caer el producto ni la batera. Si deja caer el producto o la batera, especialmente sobre una superficie
dura, y sospecha que han podido producirse daos, llvelo a un centro de servicio para una inspeccin.
El uso inadecuado de la batera puede provocar incendios, explosiones u otro tipo de peligros.
Por su seguridad, no extraiga la batera incorporada en el producto.

Si necesita sustituir la batera, llvela al proveedor o punto de servicio autorizado ms
cercano de LG Electronics para obtener asistencia.
Desenchufe siempre el cargador de la toma de corriente una vez que el producto haya
terminado de cargarse para evitar un consumo de energa innecesario.
Notas sobre propiedades de resistencia al agua

Este producto es resistente al agua y al polvo segn el grado de proteccin IP67*.
* La clasificacin IP67 significa que el producto mantiene su operatividad incluso si se sumerge suavemente
en un tanque de agua estancada a temperatura ambiente durante aproximadamente 30 minutos, hasta una
profundidad de 1 metro.
Evite exponer el producto a entornos con niveles excesivos de humedad o polvo. No utilice el producto en los
siguientes entornos:
SOAP
SALT
No sumerja el producto en ningn producto qumico lquido (jabn, etc.) distinto al agua.
No sumerja el producto en agua salada, como agua del mar.
No sumerja el producto en fuentes termales.
No utilice el producto si va a nadar.
No utilice el producto bajo el agua.
No coloque el producto directamente sobre la arena (por ejemplo, en la playa) o sobre el barro.
Una vez mojado el producto, puede quedar agua en los huecos de la unidad principal. Agite el producto para
que salga.
Incluso despus de esto, es posible que queden partes mojadas en el interior. Aunque puede utilizar el
producto, no lo coloque junto a objetos que no deban mojarse. Tenga cuidado al ponerlo en contacto con
ropa, bolsos o los contenidos de estos.
Elimine el agua restante en el micrfono si la activacin por voz no funciona correctamente.

No utilice el producto en zonas en las que pueda salpicarle agua a alta presin (por ejemplo, cerca de un
grifo o un cabezal de ducha) ni lo sumerja en agua durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado, ya que no est
diseado para soportar altas presiones de agua.
Este producto no es resistente a los golpes. No golpee ni deje caer el producto. esto podra provocarle daos
o deformar la unidad principal y provocar fugas de agua.
Marcapasos y otros dispositivos mdicos

Los usuarios con marcapasos deben:
Llevar SIEMPRE el dispositivo a una distancia mnima de 15,24 cm (6 pulg.) del marcapasos cuando el
producto est encendido.
No llevar el dispositivo en un bolsillo a la altura del pecho.
Utilizar la mueca contraria al marcapasos para minimizar las posibles interferencias de radiofrecuencia.
Apagar el dispositivo inmediatamente si hay alguna indicacin de que est produciendo interferencias.
Si utiliza cualquier otro dispositivo mdico, consulte a su mdico o al fabricante del dispositivo para determinar si
est debidamente protegido ante la energa de radiofrecuencia.
Exposicin a energa de radiofrecuencia

Informacin sobre exposicin a ondas de radio y SAR (Specific Absorption Rate, Tasa especfica de
absorcin).
El diseo del dispositivo cumple la normativa de seguridad vigente en materia de exposicin a las ondas de
radio. Esta normativa se basa en directrices cientficas que incluyen mrgenes de seguridad diseados para
garantizar la seguridad de todo tipo de personas, independientemente de su edad y estado de salud.
Las directrices de exposicin a ondas de radio utilizan una unidad de medicin conocida como Tasa
especfica de absorcin o SAR. Las pruebas de SAR se llevan a cabo utilizando mtodos estandarizados
con el dispositivo mediante la transmisin al nivel ms alto de potencia certificado en todas las bandas de
frecuencia utilizadas.
Aunque puede haber diferencias entre los niveles de SAR de los diferentes modelos de dispositivos LG,
todos han sido diseados para ajustarse a las directrices relevantes de exposicin a ondas de radio.
El lmite de SAR recomendado por la ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation
Protection, Comisin internacional de proteccin contra radiaciones no ionizantes) es de 2 W/kg medido
sobre 10 gramos de tejido para la boca o de 4 W/kg medido sobre 10 gramos de tejido para las
extremidades.
El valor de SAR ms alto para este modelo de dispositivo evaluado para su uso junto a la boca (cara) es de
0,066 W/kg (10 gramos) y en las extremidades (mueca) es de 0,444 W/kg (10 gramos).
Este dispositivo se ha probado para llevarlo de la forma habitual en las extremidades (mueca) a una
distancia de 0 cm entre el cuerpo del usuario (mueca) y la parte posterior del dispositivo. Adems, el
dispositivo se ha probado para su uso habitual junto a la boca (cara) con la parte frontal del dispositivo
a una distancia de 1 cm entre la boca del usuario (cara) y la parte frontal del dispositivo. Para garantizar
el cumplimiento de los requisitos de SAR de la directiva R&TTE, asegrese de que se mantenga una
separacin mnima de 1 cm durante el uso junto a la boca (cara).
Declaraciones de conformidad de EE.UU./Canad

(declaracin del apartado 15.105)
El equipo ha sido probado y cumple los lmites establecidos para los dispositivos digitales de clase B, de
conformidad con el apartado 15 de la FCC. Dichos lmites se han establecido para ofrecer una proteccin
razonable ante interferencias perjudiciales en instalaciones domsticas. El equipo genera, utiliza y puede
emitir energa de radiofrecuencia y, si no se instala y utiliza conforme a las instrucciones, es posible que
provoque interferencias perjudiciales en las comunicaciones de radio. Sin embargo, no hay garanta de que
dichas interferencias no puedan producirse en una instalacin determinada. En caso de que este equipo
provoque interferencias perjudiciales o problemas en la recepcin de televisin (que pueden determinarse
apagando y encendiendo el equipo), intente solucionar estos problemas adoptando una o varias de las
siguientes medidas:
Cambie la orientacin o la posicin de la antena receptora.
Aumente la distancia entre el equipo y el receptor.
Conecte el equipo a una toma de corriente que pertenezca a un circuito distinto al del receptor.
Consulte con un distribuidor o tcnico experto en radio/TV para obtener ayuda.
Declaracin del apartado 15.21: todo cambio o modificacin que se realice en la unidad y que no haya
sido aprobado de forma expresa por el fabricante podra anular el derecho del usuario a utilizar el equipo.
Declaracin del apartado 15.19 (EE.UU.) y requisito general de RSS (Canad): este dispositivo cumple
con lo establecido en el apartado 15 de la normativa de la FCC y con los estndares RSS exentos de licencia
de la Industry Canada. El funcionamiento est sujeto a las dos condiciones siguientes:
(1) El presente dispositivo no debe causar interferencias perjudiciales.
(2) Debe aceptar cualquier interferencia recibida, incluidas las que puedan causar un funcionamiento
indeseado del aparato.

Informacin sobre normativas

1 Toque sobre la pantalla inactiva y vuelva a tocarla para mostrar la opcin de men;
despus, deslice el dedo hacia arriba o hacia abajo hasta que aparezca el men

Cmo desechar aparatos elctricos y electrnicos obsoletos

1 Todos los aparatos elctricos o electrnicos se deben desechar de forma
distinta del servicio municipal de recogida de basura, a travs de puntos de
recogida designados por el gobierno o las autoridades locales.
2 La correcta recogida y tratamiento de los dispositivos inservibles contribuye a
evitar riesgos potenciales para el medio ambiente y la salud pblica.
3 Para obtener ms informacin sobre cmo desechar los aparatos obsoletos,
pngase en contacto con su ayuntamiento, el servicio de recogida de basura o
el establecimiento donde adquiri el producto.
Cmo desechar las bateras y los acumuladores gastados
1 Este smbolo puede aparecer junto con los smbolos qumicos del mercurio (Hg),
cadmio (Cd) o plomo (Pb) si la batera contiene ms del 0,0005% de mercurio,
0,002% de cadmio o 0,004% de plomo.
2 Todas las bateras y acumuladores se deben desechar de forma distinta del
servicio municipal de recogida de basura, a travs de los puntos de recogida
designados por el gobierno o las autoridades locales.
3 La correcta recogida y tratamiento de bateras y acumuladores contribuye a
evitar posibles riesgos para el medio ambiente, los animales y la salud pblica.
4 Para obtener ms informacin sobre cmo desechar las bateras y
acumuladores antiguos, pngase en contacto con el ayuntamiento, el servicio
de recogida de basuras o el establecimiento donde haya adquirido el producto.

Primeros pasos
Una vez que haya conectado el G Watch R a su dispositivo mvil, puede utilizarlo para realizar las acciones
siguientes:
Guardar y revisar notas, as como recordatorios o alarmas
Enviar y recibir mensajes de texto y correos electrnicos de forma ms cmoda
Navegar hasta el destino que desee.
Monitorizar su estado de salud; todo esto y mucho ms mediante su voz o tocando la pantalla.
Carga de la batera
Antes de utilizar el G Watch R por primera vez, debera cargar la batera. Utilice la base de carga suministrada
con el G Watch R para cargar la batera del dispositivo.
Tambin puede cargar la batera del dispositivo por medio de un ordenador. Basta con conectar el ordenador al
soporte de conexin por medio del cable USB incluido con el G Watch R.
Importante
Utilice solamente cargadores, bateras y cables aprobados por LG. El uso de cargadores y
cables no aprobados puede ocasionar daos en la batera del G Watch R.
Nota:
Cuando se est agotando la batera, se mostrar el icono de batera como vaco. Cuando
se agote por completo la batera, el G Watch R no se encender inmediatamente
despus de conectarlo al cargador.Deber esperar unos minutos a que se cargue la
batera antes de poder encender el dispositivo. Mientras se est cargando el dispositivo,
no estarn disponibles algunas funciones.

1 Localice los terminales de carga del G Watch R y del soporte.

Nota:
El soporte de conexin ha sido diseado para utilizarlo con el G Watch R y puede no ser
compatible con otros dispositivos.
2 Coloque el G Watch R sobre el soporte de conexin y asegrese de que los terminales de conexin estn
orientados unos hacia otros.

3 Conecte el extremo menor del cable USB suministrado al puerto USB del soporte.
4 Enchufe el adaptador de viaje a una toma de alimentacin elctrica.

Importante
Puede que la pantalla tctil no funcione correctamente si, durante la carga, la
alimentacin del G Watch R no es estable.
Es posible que el G Watch R se caliente mientras se carga. Esto es normal. Si la batera
se calienta ms de lo normal, desconecte el cargador.
5 Una vez que la batera del G Watch R est totalmente cargada, desconecte el dispositivo del soporte de
conexin.
Tiempo de funcionamiento del G Watch R
El tiempo de funcionamiento del dispositivo depende de los hbitos de uso, el nivel de carga y el estado de
la batera.
La ejecucin simultnea de varias aplicaciones o funciones puede reducir el tiempo de funcionamiento del
dispositivo.
Encendido y apagado del G Watch R

Nota:
Para utilizar el G Watch R con su dispositivo mvil, debe instalar la aplicacin Android
Wear y vincular el dispositivo con su G Watch R mediante Bluetooth.

Encender el G Watch R
Encienda el G Watch R manteniendo pulsado el botn de encendido (en el lado derecho del dispositivo) durante
unos segundos. Se enciende la pantalla y se muestra el logotipo de LG.

Conexin del G Watch R a un dispositivo mvil

Antes de vincular
Deber instalar la aplicacin Android Wear en su dispositivo mvil y, a continuacin, utilizar la conexin Bluetooth
para conectar su G Watch R.
Antes de vincular, haga lo siguiente en el smartphone/tableta.
1 Asegrese de que su smartphone o tableta ejecute Android 4.3 o superior, y de que es compatible con
Bluetooth.
Puede informarse acerca de si su dispositivo admite Android Wear si visita http://g.co/WearCheck desde
su smartphone o tableta.
Si su smartphone o tableta no ejecuta Android 4.3 o superior, pngase en contacto con su fabricante para
conocer si existe alguna actualizacin de software disponible.
2 Coloque su smartphone o tableta cerca del reloj.

4 Asegrese de que estn instaladas y actualizadas en su smartphone o tableta las aplicaciones siguientes:
Servicios de Google Play versin 5.0.89 o superior
Google Search versin 3.6.14 o superior
Android Wear versin 1.0.1 o superior
5 Si va a vincular el reloj por primera vez, asegrese de que su smartphone/tableta est conectado
a los datos mviles o la red Wi-Fi. Para poder llevar a cabo la conguracin, es necesaria una conexin
de datos. Mantenga el reloj conectado a la corriente elctrica durante la conguracin.
Comprobacin final
Asegrese de que la aplicacin Android Wear
est instalada en su smartphone o
tableta.
En funcin del estado de la red, el proceso de configuracin podra llevar ms de 20
minutos.
Vinculacin
1 Encienda el G Watch R y seleccione el idioma.

3 Abra la aplicacin Android Wear

en su smartphone o

Despus de la asociacin
Para disfrutar de la mejor experiencia G Watch R, necesita activar Google Now, Location y reconocimiento de
contactos de Google en el smartphone/tableta.
Google Now le suministra informacin sin necesidad de efectuar una bsqueda. Por ejemplo, podr consultar

Colocacin del G Watch R

El G Watch R ha sido sometido a pruebas en entornos controlados y ha demostrado ser resistente al polvo y al
agua en determinadas circunstancias (cumple con los requisitos de clasificacin IP67, segn se describe en el
estndar internacional IEC 60529 - Grados de proteccin aportados por contenedores [cdigo IP]; condiciones
de prueba: 15 C/59 F ~ 35 C/95 F, 86 - 106 kPa, 1 metro [aproximadamente 3 pies], durante 30 minutos).
A pesar de esta clasificacin, este dispositivo no es totalmente resistente al agua.
No sumerja el G Watch R a una profundidad de ms de un metro (aproximadamente 3 pies) ni lo mantenga
sumergido durante ms de 30 minutos.
Tampoco se debe exponer el dispositivo a agua a alta presin, como olas del mar o cataratas.
En caso de mojarse las manos o de que se moje el G Watch R, squelos antes de manipularlo.
No exponga el dispositivo a agua salada, ionizada ni con jabn.
La resistencia al polvo y al agua del G Watch R puede verse reducida en caso de cada o impacto del
dispositivo.
Si el G Watch R se moja, squelo meticulosamente con un pao suave.

se bloquea automticamente una vez transcurrido un periodo de inactividad.
Mientras se muestra la esfera del reloj, bloquee la pantalla tctil pulsando el botn de encendido o cubriendo
la pantalla con la palma de la mano.
Con la pantalla tctil del G Watch R bloqueada, desbloquela tocando la pantalla o pulsando el botn de
encendido.

Cmo garantizar mediciones fiables

Es posible que, en funcin de las condiciones y el entorno en los que se realicen, las cifras de frecuencia
cardiaca no sean exactas. Siga los pasos que se indican a continuacin para obtener mediciones ms precisas
de su frecuencia cardaca:
No mida nunca su frecuencia cardiaca despus de haber fumado o consumido alcohol. El consumo de alcohol
o tabaco pueden afectar a la frecuencia cardiaca.
No mida nunca su frecuencia cardiaca a bajas temperaturas. Realice la medicin de su frecuencia cardaca a
una temperatura agradable.
En usuarios con muecas estrechas, es posible que los resultados de las mediciones no sean exactos.
Medicin de la frecuencia cardiaca
2 Diga "Mostrar mi frecuencia cardiaca".
3 Tras un breve periodo de tiempo, ver su frecuencia cardiaca en la pantalla, junto con una lista de las

Ajustes de Fit
Pueden verse y cambiarse los ajustes de Fit segn sus objetivos de entrenamiento personal.
2 Haga que se muestre el men de ajustes de Fit deslizando el dedo hacia la izquierda dos veces. Los
ajustes disponibles son los siguientes.
Mostrar tarjeta de pasos: si est activada esta opcin, se mostrar en la esfera del reloj la tarjeta de
pasos con su recuento de pasos.
Objetivo de pasos diarios: seleccione los miles de 0 a 20.000.
Guardar datos de fitness: si est activada esta opcin, se guardan los registros de su frecuencia
cardiaca y sus recuentos de pasos en su dispositivo mvil para poder utilizarlos con su aplicacin de
estado fsico.

Silenciar telfono conectado: toque para seleccionar si se mostrar la alerta (sonido) de llamada solo en
el reloj o tanto en el reloj como en el telfono.
Mostrar tarjetas eventos: cuando est activada esta opcin, se mostrarn recordatorios de eventos de
calendario en tarjetas del G Watch R.
Depuracin por Bluetooth: cuando est activada esta opcin, su G Watch R y su dispositivo mvil
se pueden asociar a un PC a travs de Bluetooth. Estas conexiones se pueden utilizar para depurar
aplicaciones.
Volver a sincronizar aplicatciones: toque para volver a sincronizar los datos de aplicaciones de su
dispositivo mvil con los de su G Watch R.

Before turning on your product, review the basic safety information provided here.
General safety & handling

While using your product, be aware of the following common-sense guidelines.
Your environment
Safe operating temperatures. Use and store your product in temperatures between 0C/32F and
40C/104F. Exposing your product to extremely low or high temperatures may result in damage, malfunction,
or even explosion.
While driving. When driving a car, driving is your first responsibility. Using a mobile device or accessory for a
call or other application while driving may cause distraction. Keep your eyes on the road.
Around explosives. Do not use in areas where sparks from the product might cause a fire or explosion.
On airplanes. Observe all rules and instructions for use of electronic devices. Most airlines allow electronic
use only between and not during takeoffs and landings. There are three main types of airport security devices:
X-ray machines (used on items placed on conveyor belts), magnetic detectors (used on people walking
through security checks), and magnetic wands (hand-held devices used on people or individual items). You can
pass your product through airport X-ray machines. But do not send it through airport magnetic detectors or
expose it to magnetic wands.
Always follow any special regulations in a given area. Turn your device off in areas where use is forbidden or
when it may cause interference or danger.
Changing the wrist straps to metal straps might cause Bluetooth connectivity problem.
Safety tips
WARNING: The charging cradle contains strong magnets that may interfere with pacemakers, credit cards,
watches, and other magnet-sensitive objects.
To avoid damaging your product and reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, explosion, or other hazards, observe
these common-sense precautions:
Use only with cables, chargers, and other accessories approved by LG.
Do not drop, strike, or shake your product.
Do not damage the power cord by bending, twisting, pulling, heating, or placing heavy items on it.
This product is equipped with a USB cable for connecting to a desktop or notebook computer or to the
charger. Be sure your computer is properly grounded before connecting your product to the computer.
The power supply cord of a desktop or notebook computer has an equipment-grounding conductor and a
grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Do not attempt to repair or modify or remanufacture the product . It is equipped with an internal rechargeable
battery, which should be replaced only by LG or an authorized LG repair center.
Do not open, disassemble, crush, bend or deform, puncture, or shred the product.
Do not insert foreign objects into the product.
Do not place the product in a microwave oven.
Do not expose the product to fire, explosion, or other hazards.
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Don't use harsh chemicals (such as alcohol, benzene, or thinners) or detergents
to clean your product.
Dispose of your product and battery separately from household waste and in accordance with local
regulations.
Like many electronic devices, your product generates heat during normal operation. Extremely prolonged,
direct skin contact in the absence of adequate ventilation may result in discomfort or minor burns. Therefore,
use care when handling your product during or immediately after operation.
If you have a problem with using the product, please stop using it and consult with the authorised LG
Electronics customer service center.
Do not immerse or expose the product to water or other liquids.
Pedometer, Sleep, Exercise, and Heart rate are not intended to treat or diagnose any
medical condition, and should be used for leisure, well-being and fitness purposes only.
Heart rate readings can be affected by measurement conditions and your surroundings.
Make sure you are seated and relaxed before reading your heart rate.
This product is water and dust-resistant according to the IP67 Rating, which tests
submersion in water at up to 1 meter (approximately 3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. Not
shockproof. The case must be completely closed.
Heart rate readings may be affected by skin condition, measurement conditions and
your surroundings.
Never look directly at the light of the heart rate sensor as this may damage your
eyesight.
If your device becomes hot, remove it until it cools down. Exposing skin to the hot
surface for a long period of time may cause skin burn.
The Heart rate feature is only intended for measuring your heart rate and must not be
used for any other purposes.
Battery warnings
Do not disassemble or open crush, bend or deform, puncture or shred

or other liquids, expose to fire, explosion or other hazard.
Only use the battery for the system for which it is specified
Only use the battery with a charging system that has been qualified with the system per CTIA Certification
Requirements for Battery System Compliance to IEEE1725. Use of an unqualified battery or charger may
present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
Do not short circuit a battery or allow metallic conductive objects to contact battery terminals.
Replace the battery only with another battery that has been qualified with the system per this standard, IEEEStd-1725. Use of an unqualified battery may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage or other hazard. Only
authorized service providers shall replace battery (If the battery is non-user replaceable)
Battery usage by children should be supervised.
Avoid dropping the product or battery. If the product or battery is dropped, especially on a hard surface, and
the user suspects damage, take it to a service center for inspection.
Improper battery use may result in a fire, explosion or other hazard.
For your safety, do not remove the battery incorporated in the product.
If you need to replace the battery, take it to the nearest authorised LG Electronics
service point or dealer for assistance.
Always unplug the charger from the wall socket after the product is fully charged to save
unnecessary power consumption of the charger.
Notes on water resistant properties

This product is water and dust resistant in compliance with the Ingress Protection rating IP67*.
* The IP67 rating means that the product will maintain its operability even if it is gently submerged in a tank of
still tap water at room temperature for about 30minutes, up to a depth of 1 meter.
Avoid exposing the product to environments with excessive dusts or moisture. Do not use the product in the
following environments.
SOAP
Do not immerse the product in any liquid chemicals (soap, etc.) other than water.
SALT
Do not immerse the product in salt water, such as sea water.

Do not immerse the product in hot spring.
Do not swim wearing this product.
Do not use the product underwater.
Do not place the product directly on sand (such as at a beach) or mud.
Once the product gets wet, water may remain in gaps of the main unit. Shake the product well to drain water.
Even after water is drained, the inner parts might be still wet. Although you can use the product, do not place
it near things that must not get wet. Take care not to wet your clothes, bag or contents of the bag.
Drain water if the voice activation does not work properly due to water remaining in the microphone.
Do not use the product in places where it may be sprayed with high-pressure water (e.g. near a faucet
or shower head) or submerge it in water for extended periods of time, as the product is not designed to
withstand high water pressure.
This product is not resistant to shock. Do not drop the product or subject it to shock. Doing so might damage
or deform the main unit causing water leak.
Pacemakers and other medical devices

Persons with pacemakers should:
ALWAYS keep the product more than six (6) inches from their pacemaker when the product is turned ON.
Not carry the product in a breast pocket.
Use the wrist opposite the pacemaker to minimize the potential for RF interference.
Turn the product OFF immediately if there is any indication that interference is taking place.
If you use any other personal medical device, consult your physician or the manufacturer of your device to
determine if it is adequately shielded from external RF energy.
Exposure to radio frequency energy

Radio wave exposure and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) information.
This product has been designed to comply with applicable safety requirements for exposure to radio waves.
These requirements are based on scientific guidelines that include safety margins designed to assure the
safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The radio wave exposure guidelines employ a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption
Rate, or SAR. Tests for SAR are conducted using standardised methods with the product transmitting at its
highest certified power level in all used frequency bands.
While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various LG product models, they are all
designed to meet the relevant guidelines for exposure to radio waves.
The SAR limit recommended by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP)
is 2 W/kg averaged over 10g of tissue for the Mouth SAR or 4.0 W/kg averaged over 10g of tissue for the
Limb-worn SAR.
The highest SAR value for this model product when tested for use at Next-to-Mouth(Face) is 0.066 W/kg
(10g) and for Limb-worn(Wrist) is 0.444 W/kg (10g).
This device was tested for typical Limb-worn(Wrist) operations kept 0 cm between the users body(Wrist)
and the back of the device. Additionally this device was tested for typical Next-to-Mouth(Face) operations
with the front of the device kept 1 cm between the users mouth(Face) and the front of the device. To
ensure compliance with R&TTE SAR requirements, please ensure a minimum separation distance of 1 cm
is maintained for next-to-mouth (face) operations.

Getting started
Once you have connected the G Watch R to your mobile device, you can use it to do the following:
Save and review notes, as well as set reminders or alarms
Send and receive text messages and emails more conveniently
Navigate to a desired destination.
Help to monitor your health; all this and more with just a few spoken words or taps on the screen.
Charging the battery

Before you use the G Watch R for the first time, you should charge the battery. Use the charging cradle included
with the G Watch R to charge the device's battery.
You can also charge the device's battery using a computer. Simply connect the computer to the charging cradle
using the USB cable included with the G Watch R.
Important!
Only use LG-approved chargers, batteries and cables. Using unapproved chargers or
cables may damage the battery in the G Watch R.
Note:
When the battery power is getting low, the battery icon is displayed as empty. If the
battery charge is completely empty, the G Watch R cannot be turned on immediately after
connecting the charger. Leave an empty battery to charge for a few minutes before turning
the device on. Some features are not available while the battery is charging.

1 Locate the charging terminals on both the G Watch R and the charging cradle.

compatible with other devices.
2 Place the G Watch R on the charging cradle and make sure that the charging terminals are aligned with
each other.

3 Plug the small end of the USB cable provided into the charging cradle's USB port.
4 Plug the travel adapter into an electrical socket.

Important!
The touch screen may not function if the power to the G Watch R is unstable while
charging.
The G Watch R may become warm while charging. This is normal. If the battery
becomes hotter than usual, disconnect the charger.
5 Once the G Watch R battery is fully charged, disconnect the device from the charging cradle.
G Watch R operating time
Your usage patterns, the charge level and the condition of the battery affect the device's operating time.
Running multiple applications or features simultaneously can reduce the device's operating time.

Note:
To use the G Watch R with your mobile device, you must install the Android Wear app
and pair the device to your G Watch R via Bluetooth.

Before pairing
You need to install the Android Wear application on your mobile device and then use a Bluetooth connection to
connect it to your G Watch R.
Before pairing, please do the following on the smartphone/tablet.
1 Make sure that your smartphone/tablet is running Android 4.3 or higher and supports Bluetooth.
You can find out whether your device supports Android Wear by visiting http://g.co/WearCheck from your
smartphone/tablet.
If your smartphone/tablet is not running Android 4.3 or higher, check with your manufacturer to see if there
is a software update available.
2 Place your smartphone/tablet next to your watch.

Depending on the network condition, the setup process might take over 20 minutes.

1 Turn the G Watch R on and select a language to continue.
2 Your watch is now waiting to pair with your smartphone/tablet.

To have the best G Watch R experience, you need to turn on Google Now, Location, and Contact recognition on

Google Now for information when you need it without searching. For example, see todays weather, check
your flight status, and find out if theres traffic on the way to work.
Location for navigation, local suggestions (like restaurants and traffic), and more.
Contact recognition to call, text, or email contacts.

Before you can connect your G Watch R to another device, you must first delete all your data from the
G Watch R's memory by resetting it.
Resetting the watch
1 Make sure your G Watch R is turned on, then press and hold the Power button until the Settings menu
is displayed.
2 Swipe up until you see the Reset device option and tap it. Then tap
.
3 When you see the setup screen, tap the desired language and follow the prompts to connect the new
mobile device to your G Watch R.
Tips for using Bluetooth

When connecting your G Watch R to your mobile device, the devices must be positioned close to each other.
Bluetooth uses a relatively low-power radio signal. Some industrial, scientific, medical and other low- power
products can interfere with Bluetooth connections. In an open space, the Bluetooth communication range
usually spans approximately 10m (33 feet).
Not all Bluetooth-capable mobile devices will work with your G Watch R. Some devices may not be compatible
with your G Watch R, in particular those which are not tested or approved by the Bluetooth SIG.

Power button
You can use the Power button to turn the G Watch R on or off, display the Settings menu, or turn the screen

While the watch is off, press and hold the Power button for several seconds to turn it on.
While the watch is on, press and hold the Power button for several seconds to display the Settings menu.
From here you can turn the G Watch R off.
To hide and display the watch face, press the Power button once.

Wearing the G Watch R

Your G Watch R has undergone testing in a controlled environment and is proven to be water and dust resistant
in certain circumstances (meets the requirements of classification IP67 as described by the international
standard IEC 60529 - Degrees of Protection provided by Enclosures [IP Code]; test conditions: 15C/59 F ~ 35
C/95F, 86 - 106 kPa, 1 meter (approximately 3 feet), for 30 minutes). Despite this classification, your device is
not fully resistant to water damage.
The G Watch R must not be immersed in water deeper than 3 feet (approximately 1 meter) and kept
submerged for longer than 30 minutes.
The device must not be exposed to water at high pressure, such as ocean waves or a waterfall.
Should your G Watch R or your hands become wet, dry them thoroughly before handling the device.
The device must not be exposed to salt water, ionised water or soapy water.
The G Watch R's water and dust resistant features may be damaged by dropping or receiving an impact.
If the G Watch R gets wet, use a clean, soft cloth to dry it thoroughly.
The touch screen and other features may not work properly if the device is used in water or any other
liquid.
If the G Watch R has been immersed in water or if the microphone or speaker has gotten wet, in-call
sound quality may be affected. Wipe the microphone or speaker with a dry cloth to ensure it is clean and dry.

Using the touch screen

Important! The touch screen must not come into contact with any other electrical devices.
Electrostatic discharges can result in the touch screen malfunctioning.
Locking and unlocking the touch screen

Lock the G Watch R's touch screen and prevent unwanted operations when not in use by pressing the Power
button or covering the screen with the palm of your hand. The touch screen locks automatically if it is inactive
for a period of time.
With the watch face displayed, lock the touch screen by pressing the Power button or covering the display
with the palm of your hand.
With the G Watch R touch screen locked, unlock it by tapping the screen or pressing the Power button.

Additional status icons

Display today's date and the current charge level of your G Watch R's battery by swiping from the top of the
watch face to the middle with one finger and holding it there. The icons will roll up when you lift your finger.
Finger gestures
You can navigate between the G Watch R screens using your fingers.
Important! Do not tap the screen with anything sharp or apply excessive pressure to it
with your fingertips as this can cause damage.
NOTE: The G Watch R may not recognize touch inputs made close to the screen's edges
and outside the touch input area.
Tapping
Display a menu, select a menu option, open an application or press a displayed button by tapping with one
finger.
For example: While the watch face is displayed, tap the screen to launch Google Voice Search feature.
Swiping
Access card actions by swiping from right to from right to left across the screen.
Remove a card by swiping from left to right across it.
Display additional options in a menu by swiping up and down.
Mute/Unmute
Mute or unmute your G Watch R by swiping from the top of the watch face to the bottom and release your
finger.
Viewing notification cards

Notifications are displayed in the form of cards at the bottom of the watch face.
Display a complete card by swiping the card upwards.
Display any additional cards by swiping up across the screen.
Close a card by swiping from left to right across the screen.

The information for G Watch R features and apps is displayed on cards displayed on the screen.
Display any additional cards by swiping up across the screen.

1 If the screen on your G Watch R is blank, tap it to display the watch face.
2 From the watch face, say "Ok Google".

Tap the watch face. You will see the Speak now prompt.
Opening a feature using voice:
Say the feature name displayed in bold text in the Features list.
Opening a feature using touch:
1 Tap the screen without saying anything. You will see the rst few options in the Features list.
2 Navigate the Features list by swiping up and/or down across the screen.
3 Centre a desired feature's name to highlight it, then tap the feature to open it.

Take a note
You can dictate notes to yourself using the Voice Memo app.
1 Tap the watch face or say "Ok Google". You will see the Speak now prompt.

3 Note? is displayed, followed by a prompt to Speak now.
4 Dictate the note as desired. The app changes the words you speak into text. When you have nished
speaking, your text note is saved to Google Keep on your mobile device.
NOTE: Read your notes by opening Google Keep on your mobile device.

With this feature you can view a count of the steps you have taken today and review a log of your steps taken
over the last week, as measured by the Fit app. (See Fit for more information.)

Swipe through the Features list and tap on Show me my steps. You will see your step count, progress to
your fitness goal and a bar chart of your daily step counts.
3 View a list of your daily step totals by swiping up across the screen.
4 Hide your steps screen by placing the palm of your hand over the screen.
NOTE: If you swipe your steps screen to the right, the Fit app stops counting your steps.

Show me my heart rate

You can use the Heart Rate app to measure and record your current heart rate.
NOTE: The device's heart rate measurement feature is not to be used for clinical or
medical diagnosis. Follow the guidelines in Wearing the G Watch R and Ensuring
accurate measurements to make sure your heart rate measurements are accurate.
Ensuring accurate measurements

Heart rate readings may be inaccurate depending on the conditions and surroundings. Follow these steps for
more accurate heart rate readings:
Never measure your heart rate after smoking or consuming alcohol. Smoking and/or consuming alcohol can
affect your heart rate.
Never take heart rate measurements at low temperatures. Or keep yourself warm when you measure your
heart rate.
Users with thin wrists may find their heart rate measurements are inaccurate.
Measuring heart rate
2 Say "Show me my heart rate".
3 Start measuring your heart rate by tapping the heart icon (if necessary). After a short period of time, you
will see your heart rate on the screen along with a list of the four most recent heart rates taken, and the
dates and times they were taken.
4 Take another measurement by tapping Check again.
5 Close the Heart Rate screen by swiping to the right twice or placing your hand over the screen.
Send a text
This feature enables you to use your G Watch R to dictate text messages to contacts stored on your mobile
device. You can also reply to received text messages which appear in text message cards.
Sending a message
2 Say "Send a text".
OR
Swipe through the Features list and tap Send a text. The To whom? screen will be displayed. You will see

the Speak now prompt.

3 Say the name of the contact you want to send a text message to. You will be prompted to say the message
you want to send.
4 Send your message.
Email
Your G Watch R can be used to write emails as well as read emails received on your mobile device.
2 Say "Email".

Swipe through the Features list and tap Email. You will see the email message navigation screen.
Checking emails on your mobile device
Return to reading your emails on your mobile device swiping the message card from right to left and tapping
Show on phone.
Deleting email messages
Swipe the message card from right to left and tap Delete.
Agenda
You can view events scheduled on your mobile device's calendar using your G Watch R.
2 Say "Agenda".

Swipe through the Features list and tap Agenda. You will see a list of your scheduled events.
3 View the details of an event by tapping the event.

You can find your way to a selected destination using the G Watch R.

Swipe through the Features list and tap Navigate. You will be prompted to create a Navigate command.
Set a timer
The G Watch R can be used as a countdown timer.
2 Say "Set a timer".

Swipe through the Features list and tap Set a timer.
3 Swipe through the available durations and start the timer by tapping the desired duration.
Pause the timer by tapping .
Resume the countdown by tapping .
Restart the timer by swiping to the left and tapping Restart.
Delete the timer by swiping to the left twice and tapping Delete.
Mute the timer by swiping to the left three times and tapping Mute app.
Start stopwatch
Measure how much time has passed with the Stopwatch app.
2 Say "Start stopwatch".

Swipe through the Features list and tap Start stopwatch.

Set an alarm
Multiple alarms can be set on your G Watch R.

3 Find the desired alarm time by swiping up or down. A list of times in 15-minute increments is displayed.
Show alarms
1 Tap the Watch screen or say "Ok Google". You will see the Speak now prompt.

Swipe through the Features list and tap Show alarms. You will see a list of the alarms that you have set
on your G Watch R.
Settings
The Settings app allows you to see the connection status and remaining battery charge, as well as alter the
volume and display brightness.

Swipe through the Features list and tap Settings. The Settings menu will be displayed.
The available settings are as follows:
Adjust brightness: Scroll to and tap the desired brightness value.
Always-on screen: Tap to select the G Watch R screen's response to being inactive for a period of time
(On a muted watch face is displayed, or Off the screen darkens).
Airplane mode: Turns the G Watch R Bluetooth function off.
Power off: Turns the G Watch R off.
Restart: Reboots the G Watch R.

Show step card: If set to On, the step card containing your step count is displayed on the watch face.
Daily step goal: Select a value in multiples of a thousand from 0 to 20,000.
Save fitness data: If set to On, your step counts and heart rates are saved to your mobile device for you
to use with your health/fitness app.

2 Say "Show me my heart rate".

Swipe through the Features list and tap Show me my heart rate. You will see the Heart Rate page.

Using Android Wear

Android Wear lets you connect your G Watch R to a mobile device. It also enables you to customise your G Watch
R's settings and apps. Android Wear can be used to access the features of the connected mobile device.
Installing Android Wear

See Connecting the G Watch R to a mobile device for more information.
Launching Android Wear

NOTE: Some Android Wear features may not be available depending on the type of
device paired with your watch.
1 Make sure that any currently-used G Watch R device names in the Bluetooth paired devices list are
unpaired on your mobile device.
2 Turn your G Watch R on.
3 Open the Android Wear app on your mobile device. You will see the Choose a device screen on the
Android Wear app.
Changing to your new G Watch R

1 From the Choose a device screen in the Android Wear app, tap the name of your new G Watch R.
2 From the Bluetooth pairing request pop-up, tap Pair.
3 From the Pairing code card on your G Watch R, tap .
Configuring the G Watch R settings

Voice actions
Use the settings in this list to select which feature or app is launched when you say the associated voice
command.
Changing a voice action setting
1 On the Android Wear app, under Voice actions, tap the required Voice action. The app associated with the
voice action, along with any additional supported apps, will be displayed.

2 Tap the icon for the feature or app you want. The pop-up will close and you will see the name of the new
feature or app in the Voice actions list.
Adding compatible apps
You can carry out a search for apps which are compatible with your mobile device.
1 On the Android Wear app, under Voice actions, tap Browse suggested apps.
2 Download and install the desired app(s).
3 Change the apps for the desired voice actions as described in Changing a voice action setting.
Customising your G Watch R

This app lets you customise your G Watch R smartwatch with your mobile device.
At the top of the Android Wear app, tap Settings
. You will see the Settings screen. The following options
are available.
Mute app notifications: Tap to stop specific app notifications from appearing on your G Watch R.
Screen always on: When this is enabled, a dimmed watch face is displayed on your G Watch R's screen
when idle.
Hide cards on dimmed screen: Tap to choose whether to always show or always hide cards on the G
Watch R's dimmed screen.
Silence connected phone: Tap to choose whether the call connected alert is only displayed on your
watch or appears on both your watch and phone.
Show calendar event cards: When this is enabled, you can see calendar event reminders in cards on
your G Watch R.
Debugging over Bluetooth: When this is enabled, your G Watch R and mobile device can be linked to a
PC using Bluetooth. These connections can be used to debug apps.
Resync apps: Tap to resync the app data on your mobile device with the app data on your G Watch R.
Getting to know your G Watch R

See the Android Wear app for more information, demonstrations and tutorials about your G Watch R device.
From the Android Wear app, tap the Menu icon
to access the following options.
Pair with a new wearable: Allows you to pair the mobile device with another watch.
Demo cards: Allows you to send demo cards to your watch.

Customising your G Watch R

You can customise your G Watch R by changing how bright the display is, whether a watch face is displayed
when your G Watch R is idle and what watch face you see when your G Watch R is active.

Launching the Settings menu

1 From the watch face, say "Ok Google". When you see the Speak now prompt, say "Settings".
OR
Tap the Watch screen and swipe up until you see the Settings option, then tap it.
OR
With your G Watch R on, press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds until you see the Settings menu.
Adjusting display brightness

The brightness of the G Watch R display can be altered on the device itself.
1 From the Settings screen, tap Adjust brightness.
2 Swipe up or down to select the desired display brightness.
Always-on screen
This setting lets you choose whether or not a watch face is displayed when your G Watch R is idle.
From the Settings screen, tap Always-on screen to switch between the following:
On: A dimmed watch face is shown when your G Watch R is idle.
Off: The G Watch R screen darkens when idle.
Airplane mode
When Airplane mode is on, you can use many of the features on your G Watch R, such as Heart Rate when you
are on an airplane or anywhere where sending or receiving data is prohibited.
Important! When in Airplane Mode, your G Watch R cannot access information stored on
your mobile device. You should also enable the Airplane mode on your mobile device.

From the Settings screen, tap Airplane mode and select to enable or disable the feature.
Power off
This setting turns your G Watch R off.
1 From the Settings screen, tap Power off. You will see a prompt where you must conrm you want to turn
your G Watch R off.

This setting restarts your G Watch R.
1 From the Settings screen, tap Restart. You will see a prompt where you must conrm you want to restart
your G Watch R.

to restart your G Watch R.
Reset device
This setting can be used to reset your G Watch R's settings to their factory default values. Resetting erases all
of your data.
NOTE: Pre-loaded applications are not removed.
1 From the Settings screen, tap Reset device. You will see a prompt where you must conrm you want to
reset the settings on your G Watch R.
2 Tap
to reset the settings on your G Watch R.
Tip! The G Watch R can be connected to a different mobile device after being reset.
Change watch face

You have the option to choose from 18 types of watch faces.
1 From the Settings screen, tap Change watch face.
2 Select a watch face by dragging left or right across the screen.
