Comic Strip Project Expressions and Integers

Remember how we used the comic strips below to introduce integers. Zoe and Darnell had their
own way of thinking about negative numbers. You will be creating a comic strip on how your
think about expressions and integers.

Assignment:
1. Create a comic strip that explains the thought process involved in the following:
The comic strip should explain how you add integers
OR
The comic strip should explain how you subtract integers
OR
The comic strip should explain how you simplify expressions
2. Other requirements:
a. Comic strip should make sense and be neat
b. Proper spelling and conversational grammar should be used
c. Hint: When constructing your text bubbles write out the text first then put the
bubble around it. If you do the bubble first, the text may not fit in it.
d. Illustrations should be neat and colorful used colored pencils or crayons
e. PUT your name on it
