600mg. How many ampoules do you need to administer?

40mg/ml. How many millilitres do you need to administer?



3. A patient has been prescribed gentamicin 2mg/kg. Your patient weighs 50Kg. The
ampoules are available are gentamicin40mg/ml. Calculate how many millilitres you
need to administer.


4. Your patient has been prescribed 500ml 5% glucose over 6 hours. How many
millilitres per hour you would set a volumetric pump for?
