SAP EAM Plant Maintenance (2014) Improvements:

Counting entries in ALV grids
In ALV reports (e.g., list of order, list of equipment, etc.), one can not judge or know how many rows of data has been
returned based on the selection parameters. With this new functionality in 40 ALV reports a field with name Counter
is added that contains value 1 for each rows. Using subtotals to sum on this field number of rows in the reports can
be displayed. In the list header total number of entries is displayed without any filters set by the user.
Business Benefit:
Many decision can be taken directly based on report
rather than counting number of rows using excel down
load of graphic button. Improved user acceptance and
flexibility.

Asset Performance Measurement

Measure performance of assets as well as asset
systems and processes used to manage them.
Identify improvements to achieve
organizational goals.
Asset Improvement Programs
Prioritize improvements and ensure
deployment of critical resources to manage
improvement programs that lead to high return
on investments, while lowering
related risks.

Optimized Maintenance and Plant Operations

Evolve and optimize asset management
strategies to ensure that asset capabilities meet
operational demands throughout their
lifecycles.

Asset Master Data

Companies require a single version of asset master data to provide the structure used to
ensure predicable production.

Criticality Analysis
Companies need a proven and consistent approach when
defining the criticality of their production assets.
Asset Criticality Analysis provides a standard
process for defining the criticality of systems
and assets based on Safety, Environmental
and Production Risks. Because this
populates the ABC indicator criticality
becomes a part of the master data.

Strategy Optimization
Companies need to have a proactive maintenance plan to
eliminate surprises and direct resources away from low value
activities or distractions.
