Module Description:
This module introduces the learner to Electronic laboratory and Mechatronic workshop practices. There is a
strong emphasis on all safety aspects of working with electronic and light metal tools, components and
equipment.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to
1. Demonstrate a broad range of knowledge in an Electronics and Mechatronics laboratory environment
2. Identify, select and use tools appropriate to different Electronic circuit assembly and light metal tasks
3. Apply proper safety procedures to their work
