If you miss an examination due to approved medical leave or you have

your leave approved by the competent authority at IIT Kanpur, following
policy will be applied.

Missed Quiz-1/Quiz-II/Mid-semester examination: If you miss any

one or two for valid reasons, it/ they will be pro-rated based on the
other remaining. Example: If you miss Quiz-1 and Mid-sem, marks for
these will be pro-rated based on Quiz-2.
Missed tutorial 10 minutes mini-quiz: No make-up examination
will be allowed for missed tutorial quiz. If N are the total number of
mini-quizzes, best N-2 will be taken into consideration for final
evaluation.
