books or going to the library. Another advantage of computers worth mentioning is that they
provide users with a convenient tool to keep the records of their documents. To be more detailed,
people virtually need not worry about their papers being destroyed by external factors. Last but
not least, what makes computers stand out is that they are also a good means of entertainment.
For instance, people can listen to music, play games or watch films on computers. In conclusion,
with all the aforementioned advantages, I strongly believe that computers will be even more
popular in the years to come.

11. In 140 words, write a paragraph on the topic: your last summer holiday
Last summer, I had a trip to Sa Pa city with my family which has made a great impression on me.
Because there were no direct flights from Nha Trang to Sa Pa, we had to take a flight to Ha Noi
and then travelled to our destination by coach. On arriving in Sa Pa, I was utterly amazed by how
magnificent the landscapes were and looked forward to exploring all the nationwide famous
tourist attractions there. Despite my fancy for the sights, what indeed made me impressed most is
the friendliness and hospitability of the local residents. Not only were they willing to show us
around the area but they also offered us chances to try local specialities. All in all, Sa Pa is really
a wonderful place for holidays and that trip was obviously an experience of a lifetime for me. I
would recommend everyone pay a visit to Sa Pa at least once in life.

12. In 140 words, write a paragraph on the topic: the advantages and disadvantages of the
Internet.
The Internet has long been considered an essential part of the modern life, bringing about a
number of both advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, since invented, the Internet has been
offering people a new enormous source of information totally free of charge. Nowadays, in
preparation for a test or an assignment, students just need to go online and search for pertinent
materials for reference. Secondly, people also find the Internet an amazing means of
entertainment which provides a wide variety of things, ranging from music, films to games. Also,
Internet users have great opportunity to make new friends thanks to the availability of social
networks such as Facebook, Twitter,etc... Despite the above-mentioned benefits, the Internet still
has some negative impacts on its users. For instance, if one spends too much time online, he is
more likely to become slack in study and work, thereby reducing his performances. In summary,
people should be aware that the Internet has both pros and cons and it need to be used in a clever
way to minimize the effect of the latter ones.
13. In 140 words, write a paragraph on the topic: should mobile phones be banned in
schools.
Mobile phones have become increasingly common these days thanks to the benefits they can
bring users. However, I highly support the idea that mobile phones should be banned in school
for several reasons. Firstly, they can distract students from their study. To be more specific,
applications or games available on mobile phones can keep students attention and therefore
reduce their concentration on the lessons the teachers are giving. Secondly, students using mobile
phones are more likely to cheat during exams because they can easily contact and seek help from
people outside via text message or other chat apps such as viber, zalo,etc,... Last but not least,
allowing students to use mobile phones at school will somehow widen the gap between the rich
and poor, which can cause some students to feel diffident or even inferior to their peers. In
summary, although mobile phones have a number of advantages, their use at school should be
banned or at least kept under control.
