I live in a reasonably quiet district situated to the west of London. The street itself is
residential, although there are a few shops at the end and thats where my dad buys
the paper on Sunday mornings. Clearly, there isnt a great deal for tourists but
theres nevertheless a swimming pool and a cinema where I go from time to time
with my friends. There used to be a library too but its been closed for some time now,
which is a shame. Last weekend, I went out with a few friends. One of them wanted
to play football in the park but when it started to rain, we decided to go back to my
place. Then, in the evening, we ended up going out to have a pizza.
I dont like shopping much, although I buy clothes from time to time. My parents tend
to buy things on the Internet, especially when theyre organising holidays plane
tickets, hotel reservations, for example.
I think if I had the choice, Id like to live a little closer to the centre, mainly because
the public transport network isnt great, especially on Saturday mornings.

papa achte le journal le dimanche matin. Bien sr, il ny a pas grand-chose pour les
touristes mais on peut quand mme y trouver une piscine et un cinma o je vais
parfois avec mes copains. Avant il y avait une bibliothque aussi mais elle est
ferme depuis un certain temps, ce qui est dommage. Le week-end dernier, je suis
sorti avec quelques amis. Lun deux voulait jouer au foot dans le parc mais quand il
sest mis pleuvoir, on a dcid de rentrer chez moi. Puis, le soir, on a fini par sortir
pour manger une pizza.
Je naime pas trop faire du shopping, bien que jachte des vtements de temps en
temps. En principe mes parents font des achats sur internet, surtout au moment
dorganiser des vacances des billets davion, des rservations dhtel, par exemple.
Je crois que si javais le choix, jaimerais habiter un peu plus prs du centre,
principalement parce que le rseau des transports en commun nest pas formidable,
surtout le samedi matin.
