Objectives:
Commissioning of minisplit cyclone classifier for classification of metal powders.
Determining the parameters affecting the cut size obtained from the cyclone
classifier and then studying their effect for precise parameter control.
Achievements:
The cyclone classifier was successfully commissioned.
The parameters were identified in two categories-primary and secondary. A DOE
(design of experiment) was framed to study these parameters. Primary parameters
were successfully studied. The prepared DOE formed the basis for later studies of
secondary parameters.
