Egalitarianism- from French gal, meaning "equal"

A trend of thought that favours equality for all humans especially with
respect to social, political, and economic affairs
A social philosophy advocating the removal of inequalities among people

Objective:
To reflect and evaluate upon our influence on society
To interpret and integrate minorities and their importance in the world
A greater understanding of how different ideologies work

The coursework will be presented through a TV show named Everybody Is


Beautiful and will be 12 minutes long,
12 minutes of the coursework will be divided into 3 major parts.
1. Visual Aid (1-2 minutes)
A basic introduction on our topic, to enlighten the audience as to what
egalitarianism really is, including a brief history, how it came to being
and the difference between it and feminism.

2. Interview (2-3 minutes)
Three people will be interviewed. Questions will revolve around their
views of the movement and how it may benefit them and others
around them.

He was not permitted to proceed at the airport because of the
way he looked.
(3) Person of colour discriminated against:

He is not able to find jobs, and people do not talk to
him/trust him.

Call from a right-winged feminist who blames all of the female
populations problems on others; men, the government, etc.

3. Panel discussion (5-7 minutes)
Cast from the interview will sit together on a panel
The audience will be participating in asking questions and giving their
views.

Outcome:
The audience will have a greater understanding on the different philosophies
and ideologies which will help them further understand society as a whole.

Preparation is sufficient to ensure all team members are thorough with


their parts, boosting their self confidence
Pace of speaking is constant; neither rushed, nor dragged out
Voice modulation is appropriate according to each segment of the
presentation
Presentation is interactive to provoke interest of the audience
