“Charity...believeth all things.” (I Corinthians 13:4,7)
One of the Mothers, when she learned about my close relationship with the Lord
Jesus, told me that I must be deluding myself. She told me that the Lord Jesus
associates in this way only with the Saints and not with sinful souls “like you,
Sister!” After that, it was as if I mistrusted Jesus. In one of my morning talks with
Him I said, “Jesus, are You not an illusion?” Jesus answered me, “My love
deceives no one.” (Sister Faustina, Divine Mercy In My Soul, Page 16)

There are however, many Protestants, New Age Modernists, and Pagans
say that they are spiritual, holy, pious because they “feel” God's presence or
whatever New Age demonic feelings they have. On the contrary, Catholics do
not “feel” God's presence, but rather know of God's presence. “The mind rests
content in the knowledge of eternal truth.” (Catechism of the Council of Trent)
Many Modernists, New Agers, and Protestants base their entire lives upon
“feelings” and not the knowledge and wisdom of eternal truth. If you want, I can
go eat some sauer kraut or some refried beans and I will have “feelings” too!
(Meant for as a sarcastic joke.) The argument based on feeling is rather absurd.
For to allow one to follow their “feelings” is to walk the path of darkness.
When a soul has greater charity she must have greater knowledge. Wisdom
begets knowledge. For wisdom is the greatest gift of the Holy Ghost. And not to
know that you are morally certain is not to have the true eternal Catholic faith.
For outside of the Catholic faith do minds and hearts run restless. The
punishment for those that do not wish to seek eternal truth is restlessness both
here on earth and in Hell where the damned shall never find rest. “Men shall
seek death, and shall not find it” (Apocalypse 9:6) Restlessness can be caused by a
remorseful conscience, which is a grace of divine mercy.
 The Pope Speaks
“Tell sinners that no one shall escape My Hand. If they run away from My
Merciful Heart, they will fall into My Just Hands. Tell sinners that I am always
waiting for them, that I listen intently to the beating of their heart...When will it
beat for Me? Write, that I am speaking to them through their remorse of
conscience, through their failures and sufferings, through thunderstorms, through
the voice of the Church. And if they bring My graces to naught, I will begin to be
angry with them, leaving them alone and giving them what they want [my
emphasis: they want restlessness].” (Our Lord to Sister Faustina, Page 610-611)

Many people want to “feel” that they have a relationship with God
because they are carnal. “But the sensual man perceiveth not these things that
are of the Spirit of God; for it is foolishness to him, and he cannot understand,
because it is spiritually examined.” (I Corinthians 2:15) People are very carnal
these days. My generation is the worst generation for it is written in Sacred
Scripture, “no flesh should be saved” (Matthew 24:22). They are addicted to
sinful sensual pleasures. Since they do not have the Spirit of God to guide them,
they are lead by their sensual pleasures, the devil, and the world.
Therefore, they use their “feelings” to justify all their actions. This, in the
end, is devilish and reaps eternal damnation. Those who are in the state of
damnation say with resounding voice: “we have erred from the way of truth,
and the light of justice hath not shined unto us, and the sun of understanding
hath not risen upon us.” (Wisdom 5:6) God cannot not shine light upon feelings,
but rather wisdom. “I have not learned wisdom, and have not known the
science of Saints.” (Proverbs 30:3)
