Excuses/Parent & Medical Notes

A note from home or your doctor is required to
sit out of P.E. It does NOT excuse a student
from attending class, or participating in activities that he/she can safely complete. If a student misses a mile due to a note, they will earn
a zero until the student runs a make-up mile.
Parent Notes are good for one day, unless specifically stated in the note. Only two days in a
row are permitted for a parent note.
When a student is to be excused for a period
longer than two days, a doctors note is required. An alternate assignment will be given
for daily points. Please bring a copy of the
note to class. In most cases, if a student is well
enough to be in school, they are well enough
to participate in P.E.

Not meeting the Standards

Missing daily points: inappropriate attire, poor
behavior, not making warm up lap time, and
not participating In warms-ups and/or activity
for the day. Each day is worth 20 points. Fridays are worth 70 points.
Failure to turn in assignments. I do not accept
late assignments. One homework extension
can be used each trimester.
Not writing in your planner.
Not keeping your Running Log Data Sheet up
to date.
Tardies- on the 4th you will receive a referral.
