TELECOM EMERGENCY PROTOCOL

Telephone System
Partial Power Failure
Partial power failure occurs when HFA (IP-based)
telephone devices do not have power because
the network switches / routers where they are
connected is OFF.
How to know your telephone is HFA (IP-based)?
If it is connected to the LAN port, it is an HFA
device.
When power to the LAN switch is off, HFA
devices do not work and all calls are diverted to
the cordless phone, as primary redundancy to the callers profile.

Total Power Failure Emergency Numbers

Total power failure is when all primary and redundant power sources (Primary AC,
Backup Battery, Redundant Backup Battery & Diesel Generator) for the
telephone system has been totally exhausted.
In this case, the following areas or personnel and its corresponding extensions
can be reach through the following designated direct STC telephone numbers:

Another existing STC Direct Telephone Line already in place for worst case
scenario.

Free slots for other critical areas that may be added into this list. Must be a
Hadeed-1 extension.
The extensions above will automatically be converted to the corresponding STC
Direct Line during a telephone system total power failure. The STC line will
presumably take over and can be contacted or be used to contact any national or
mobile numbers.
