I have known Claire Van Loon for the past year and a half in a professional capacity. I have found her to be
an intelligent, hardworking and caring person, who can be depended upon at all times.
During her time at AIS, Claire has proven herself to be a highly motivated member of our AIS team who
possesses excellent communication skills. Claire often volunteered to take on extra responsibilities
throughout her contract.
Claire has regularly demonstrated her commitment to the profession of teaching, by enthusiastically pursuing
further professional development in education and at the same time, meeting her class learning needs and
achieving Curriculum Outcomes.
At a professional level, Claire is a teacher with deep convictions about what makes an effective classroom
environment. She has been able to articulate her ideas clearly and provide practical support to students, teachers
and parents, in the time I have had the privilege of knowing her.
Claires outgoing personality, along with her confidence, expertise, maturity and commitment, makes her an
