SECTION 4: First aid measures


Description of first aid measures
General information
First aid assistant: Pay attention to self-protection! Move victim out of danger zone.
In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show safety data sheet if
possible). Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
After inhalation
Provide fresh air. In case of breathing difficulties administer oxygen. No mouth-to-mouth or
mouth-to-nose resuscitation.Use respiratory bag or oxygen resuscitation apparatus. Immediately get
medical attention.
After contact with skin
Wash with generous amount of water. Change contaminated clothing. Medical treatment necessary.
After contact with eyes
If product gets into the eye, keep eyelid open and rinse immediately with large quantities of water, for
at least 5 minutes. Subsequently consult an ophthalmologist.
After ingestion
Rinse mouth immediately and drink large quantities of water. Make affected person vomit if
conscious. Medical treatment necessary.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Following symptoms can occur: difficulties of breathing. Coughing. Headache.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Symptoms of poisoning may develop several hours following exposure. Victim should be under
medical observation for at least 48 hours after exposure. Treat symptomatically.
