An Empty Library, in a run-down hotel on a windy clif
Scene One: Library
Duration: 30-40 seconds A dusty grey room, with a firmly locked old wooden door, with Victorian black metal-work. We see books in old, unpolished chained and locked bookcases. In the room stands a grandfather clock, we hear its tick. We see the eerie face of the clock, to a side of the face detail is a clown painting, and on the other side is another clown; it has aged drastically. The room has a table in the centre, with a dusty sheet covering the books we presume have laid on the table for years. The only light is from a long window with an alcove seat and old red curtains. The glass is almost opaque, and a small panel has cracked. We hear the loud wind. Outside of the window is a view of the top of a clif. In the distance we see an old figure of a woman in a Victorian dress. PAN OUT from the chilling window view to the rear of the library. Dramatically, the wind noises increase and it starts raining heavily. We observe the still action for a few seconds.
