high,andincluding,butnotlimitedtothefollowing(i)drowning(ii)neardrowning(iii)sprains
(iv)strains(v)fractures(vi)heatandcoldinjuries(vii)overusesyndrome(viii)injuries
involvingvehicles(ix)animalbitesand/orstings(x)contactwithpoisonousplants(xi)
accidentsinvolving,butnotlimitedtoclimbing,hiking,travelbytruck,carorotherconvenience
and(xii)thepotentialforpermanentparalysisand/ordeath.Whileparticularsrules,equipment,
andpersonaldisciplinemayreducethisrisk,theriskofseriousinjurydoesexist

and/orassigns,aswellastheirindependentcontractors,sponsoringagencies,sponsors,
advertisers,volunteers,andifapplicable,ownersandlessorsofthepremisesusedtoconduct
theVikingRace2016events(collectively,theReleasees),WITHRESPECTTOANYANDALL
INJURY,DISABILITY,DEATH,and/orlossordamagetopersonorproperty,WHETHER
ARISINGFROMTHENEGLIGENCEOFTHERELEASEESOROTHERWISE.Ifurtheragreeto
indemnify,defendandholdharmlessReleaseesfromanyloss,liability,cost,claimordamages
arisingfrommyparticipationinorassociationwiththeVikingRace2016eventsorganizedby
VikingRaceASorconnectedwiththeVikingRace2016events.
IattestandverifythatIamfreefromallillnesses,injuriesanddefectsandthatIamphysicallyfit
andsufficientlytrainedtoparticipateinallactivitiesassociatedwiththeVikingRace2016events.
MyparticipationinactivitiesandeventsorganizedorsponsoredbyVikingRaceASisentirely
voluntary.
Iconsenttoadministrationoffirstaidandothermedicaltreatmentintheeventofinjuryorillness
andherebyreleaseandindemnifyReleaseesfromanyandallliabilityorclaimsarisingoutof
suchtreatment.
IgrantfullpermissiontoReleasees,asdescribedabove,andEpicActionImageryandHarris
HawkMediatousephotographs,images,videotapes,motionpictures,recordings,oranyother

recordoftheactivitiesoftheVikingRace2016eventsforanylegitimatepurposeinperpetuity
andIunderstandthatIshallnotbeentitledtoanycompensationtherefore.
IherebygrantpermissiongratistotheReleasees,EpicActionImageryandHarrisHawkMedia,
tofilm,videotapeandrecordgratistheperformanceoftheabovenamedparticipant(referredto
hereinasI,me,my)asitrelatestotheVikingRace2016eventsandsubsequentlyto
telecastandotherwiseutilizethesamegratisinwhatevermannerReleasees,EpicAction
ImageryandHarrisHawkMedia,shalldeemappropriate.Suchpermissionshallincludethe
unlimitedrighttoappropriateusegratisbyReleasees,EpicActionImageryandHarrisHawk
Mediaofmyname,nickname,image,likeness,voice,photograph,signaturefacsimileand
biographicalinformationinconnectionwiththeVikingRace2016events.Iacknowledgethat
Releasees,EpicActionImageryandHarrisHawkMedia,andtheirrepresentativesshallhave
theunlimitedrightthroughouttheuniversetocopyright,use,reuse,publish,republish,broadcast
andotherwisedistributealloranyportionoftheVikingRace2016eventsinwhichImayappear
onanyandallradio,network,cableandlocaltelevisionprogramsandinanyprintmaterialsand
inanyotherformatormedia(includingelectronicmedia)nowknowhereinafterdevisedin
perpetuitywithoutcompensation.Inconsiderationandinreturnforbeingallowedtoparticipatein
theVikingRace2016events,IreleaseandagreenottosuetheReleaseesfromallpresentand
futureclaimsregardingmyparticipationintheVikingRace2016eventsthatmaybemadeby
me,myfamily,estateheirs,orassigns.
