EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR CK4 AND

CK8

Participants : Teacher + students + AC staff

the 30th day of the course ( class time 2 hours )

Place :

Lotteria ( Big C) for CK4 - 29/03 Park for CK8

Food and drink (paid by AMA) : 50.000 VND/ 1 person (teacher+ students +TA)
The activities for CK4 are as follows:
There are two parts :
Part 1: in classroom (the day before extra-curricular day)
+ Students are taught new vocabularies about food/fruit and drinks, how to ask and
answer about price, how to order food.
Vocabularies
Apple, mango, grapes, lemon, orange, strawberry, pineapple, carrot, cucumber,
tomato, potato, pumpkin, sandwich, chicken, potato chips, ice cream, milk, yoghurt,
hamburger,..
Sentence structures
1. What would you like to eat/ drink?
I would like a/a/some.
.., please.
2. How much is/are ?
It is/ They are.

Part 2 : in the supermarket & Lotteria

+ Students gather at the main entrance of the supermarket.
Activity 1: in the supermarket (1 hour)
+ Each class is divided into 2 groups : group 1 is taken care by the teacher and group 2
is taken care by the TA.
+ Two groups are given a list of food/fruit or drinks. All they have to do is to find out
prices of all things listed and go back to the assembly point.
+ Teacher and students ask and answer about prices using sentences they have learnt
in the previous lesson.
+ The first group to finish has a chance to order food first.
Activity 2: in Lotteria (1hour)
+ Students line up at the counter and order food. Teacher takes order.
+ Everyone enjoys their food.

End of extra-curricular day.
