CourseDescription:
Within this class, you will learn basic CAD design skills using a variety of computer
programs such as AutoCAD, Auto Desk Fusion, Maker Bot, Plasma CAM, and InScribe.
You will then be able to apply these designs to the CNC plasma arc table as well as the Laser engraver to
create in depth and detailed projects. It is the purpose of this class to provide you with the means of
basic computer design techniques as well as giving you an opportunity to create projects and possibly
make some profit for your work. Hard work and effort within the class and shop will result in the better
grade. Being enrolled in an agriculture class also allows you to be a member for the National FFA
Organization. Participation in FFA and maintaining an agricultural related project (Supervised Agriculture
Experience or SAE) is an integral part of this course.

Attendance/TardyPolicy:
It is critical that students attend class regularly to successfully complete it. YOU are responsible for getting
all missing assignments because of an absence. Please write ABSENT at the top of any assignments that
are turned in from when you were gone. Tests must be made up on your own time (lunch, before school,
after school) and must be scheduled with Mr. Rowley. Tardies (walking into class after the late bell) will be
given to those deserving of the recognition.

ClassAssignments/Homework:
This class will be driven mostly by the students that are in it. It may seem like there are a lot of large
projects to do in this class. However, if you use your time in class wisely every day, completing these
projects should be a breeze. Lecture days will be few and far between; most class time will be given to you
to be working on the computer or in the shop. PLEASE DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. Use your time wisely. L
