Saf-T-Gard Actuators
Designed to shut in operating wells in hydrocarbon producing
scenarios and most environmental conditions, Camerons Saf-TGard actuators and accessories are an integral part of control

reliability. When incorporated into a safety system, these actuators

help protect the environment and equipment by shutting in the
well when most needed.
Saf-T-Gard actuators are designed to actuate Camerons
FL, FLS, and M gate valves, as well as valves produced by
other manufacturers.

Extensive Product Offering

Camerons actuators and actuator products are available in a wide
range of types, including:
Pneumatic actuators diaphragm and piston
Hydraulic actuators rising and non-rising stem
Wireline cutting actuators pneumatic and hydraulic
Electrical arctic and desert
Actuator accessories limit switches, hold-open devices, and
manual overrides
Safety control systems self-contained, hydro-pneumatic, and
custom designed
In addition to a full offering of actuators, accessories, and
controls, we offer a comprehensive line of bonnets and stems for
interfacing with our gate valves or gate valves produced by other
manufacturers. From API general service AA trim to sour service
HH trim, our bonnets complete the actuator line.

ONE SOURCE ONE CHOICE

From the wellhead to the flowline, gate valves
to actuators, chokes to safety control systems,
Cameron offers the advantage of being the one
supplier that can fulfill a variety of needs.
When asked to supply a safety control system, we
begin the design process by incorporating vast
product knowledge and technical expertise to help
customers select the appropriate components.
The system design then is set to interface with the
preferred actuators and known well characteristics
such as the shut-in tubing pressure, flowline
pressure, and produced hydrocarbon properties.
Each complete well system starts with our highly
successful S and IC conventional wellheads. Next,
we offer a choice of popular gate valves, including
our rugged FL or FLS Series. The addition of our SafT-Gard actuators, controlled by our safety control
systems, and the installation of our production
chokes completes the Christmas tree design.
Additional benefits come from our CAMSERV
aftermarket services program, providing a full range
of installation, maintenance, and repair services

anytime and anywhere in the world.

Bonnet Assemblies
Camerons actuator bonnet assemblies are designed to
provide the interface between the actuator and gate valve.
They are compatible with our FL, FLS, and M gate valves,
as well as gate valves provided by other manufacturers.
The bonnet assembly isolates the wellbore fluids contained
in the valve body from the actuator. Including the valve
stem, our bonnet assembly designs are based on years of
field-proven experience.

When required, bonnet assemblies can be designed to

meet NACE MR-01-75 standards.
Single body penetration, primarily used when
backseating the valve and injecting lubrication,
promotes system integrity by preventing wellbore fluids
from entering the actuator assembly.
A wide array of stem materials, packing, and seals
are available for optimized performance under harsh
