Procurement of Works for Construction of 100 Greenhouses in Five
Districts (Taloqan, Farkhar, Bangi, Baharak, Chah ab) of Takhar
Province
Comprehensive Agriculture and Rural Development Facility (CARD-F) on behalf of
Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) invites all eligible bidders to
participate in the bidding process for Procurement of Works for Construction of 100
Greenhouses in Five Districts (Taloqan, Farkhar, Bangi, Baharak, Chah Ab) of Takhar
Province Afghanistan and submit their sealed bids according to the terms and
conditions of the Bidding Documents. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English
may be obtained for free by interested bidders on the submission of a written request
to the address below.
Qualification requirements include:
1-Holding a valid business license;
2-Experience as prime contractor in execution of at least one contract of works with a
volume of at least
($350,000) US Dollars during the last three years;
3-The bidder should provide a bank statement with the minimum amount of $60,000.
The statement should be valid until the bid opening day i.e. the bank statement should
be issued on the bid opening day or at maximum 2 working days prior to the bid
opening day. Providing a bank statement which shows older dates than above shall not
be considered for evaluation.
The bidders are required to frequently (or at least two days before the bid opening)
check CARD-F website (www.cardf.gov.af) for any amendment to the bidding
documents.
Bid Security: The bid security will be an amount of ($20,000) in the form of a bank
guarantee only valid for 118 days from the bid opening day.
