Key Accomplishments:

Community School Corporation (taught summer school for three years as well)

Implemented a variety of tiered lessons to provide enrichment and remediation in all


subject areas in addition to a daily school-wide RTI (Response to Intervention) program

Facilitated students to create an extensive data/writing portfolio which was shared with
parents and families each May to show growth in all academic areas

Hosted a Helpful Hints for First Grade Parents night each school year in addition to
Back to School Parent Information and Open House (presented and modeled ideas
for parents to help their child and provided a take-home packet and manipulatives)

Successfully accommodated and met the academic and social needs of several autistic,
LD, and ED special needs students by modifying lessons and differentiating instruction
